Visited Nov 2023. I was living nearby so I had a good look at this place at all hours of the day. Attaching a pic of the haveli in the evening when it is lit up, rare pic I think. Don't have anything to add - the other reviewers have written all there is to say about this place ;-) A must visit place. Difficult to photograph, lack of space and poor light.

The fine detailing in the frescoes is truly remarkable and offers a glimpse into the artistic prowess of the region. The haveli also houses a museum that displays a diverse collection of artifacts, textiles, and antiques. It was a delight to learn about the history of Bikaner and the lifestyles of the Rajputs through the exhibits. The knowledgeable staff added to the experience by sharing interesting anecdotes and insights. Rampuriya Haveli offers a serene and immersive journey into the heritage of Bikaner. Its well-preserved architecture and historical artifacts make it a must-visit for anyone interested in Rajasthani culture and history. The tranquility of the haveli, juxtaposed with its vibrant art and history, creates an unforgettable experience that leaves visitors with a deep appreciation for the rich tapestry of Rajasthan's past. I highly recommend including Rampuriya Haveli in your Bikaner itinerary.

Beautiful haveli. It's a pity that one can't go inside the building. Deep inside the village so reaching there isn't easy. Wish the lanes are cleaner.

Beautiful Heritage site rampuria haveli in old city...... must visit place...... No Ticket required..... be sure park your car outside the old market near it........

A must watch place in Bikaner. Dont miss it. Just be careful while clicking photos. It is in the middle of a crowded road and the road is very busy.

Then wealthy merchants of Bikaner built stylish homes for themselves. Later the havelis were abandoned and taken under the care of the state tourism board. The striking red facade of these pretty houses make them outstanding. This place has no entry fees and is open all time. You cannot enter the havelis though. So, you can only tour in the lanes and appreciate the exteriors. Every detail on the walls, windows and doors are impressive. From miniature art on the base of the pillars to thick wooden doors and carved window ledges leave you asking for more! The name plates on the doors of the houses depict the merchant's status and the kind of business they were in. It's a shame that the havelis are not open for public. Wonder what the interiors are like. Located in the old city of Bikaner, the dingy lanes and potholed roads might be a turn off. Kids play cricket in the lanes and bikes honking loudly break the silence of the peaceful heritage place. Once the dwelling place of rich tradesmen is now a quiet neighborhood of many secrets inside. Rampuriya havelis are the most photographed structures of the city and there is no charge for photography. Best time to visit and capture the best pictures are early morning and the golden hour in evening. Overhead sun will cast dark shadows and the pictures will not be impressive. Visited the place in 2019 and the visuals still remain fresh in our minds.

This place is a cluster of grand old buildings that were used by the merchants who had relaxed there in their off season .
