Rameshwaram temple - Hindu temple in Rameswaram - Ramanathapuram, India

This is one of the sacred temples for Hindus and is among Jyotirling. The structure itself is jaw-dropping. One has to see to believe what our ancestors achieved centuries ago without much technology and science. Apart from structure, you feel sea of positive vibes as soon as you enter. There are 1000s of devotees anytime offering prayers with selfless believe. This is true beauty of our culture. People from all section of society just having a belief in lord Shiva and they know they are being taken care by higher power. Unreal and majestic is this temple. I wish to come again someday in my life .

It is a divine place to visit. There is a lot to walk. You can have blessing shrine water bath inside the temple. If you're going in the morning time then it will be very crowd and the waiting time will be like one hour two hour you need to follow a big cues but if you are if you are travelling in the evening there is no much crowd and it is very easy to get into the Darshan. I visited in the evening time and it is the best timing

Temple is very beautiful clean but there is no management security or bag checking ..there only one police near the temple and anyone one can go without security..

The temple is majestic. You will get the answer of all your questions here. To reach the temple, you need to hire a auto which is easily available. Also, no cellphones are allowed inside. There are 22 kund inside the temple and you need to pay RS 25 per person for taking bath in all 22 kunds. If there is no rush, it takes 1 hour to complete bath in all the kunds. There is a changing room for both males and females where after taking the bath from kund, you can change your clothes. Bit before that, you need to take bath in the Ocean and then enter the temple for this process. It is recommended to carry extra pair for cloths for this. Also, there is a locker facility outside the east gate of the temple. Also, free shoe stand is there to keep your footwear.

It's a divine palace to visit. And if you plan well we can see darshan within one hour. As the ticket advancement can be done online in the temple website itself. But it is a very big concern and I need some authorities to look over "Nandhi" statues that are not maintained well.

I find this place really beautiful it has four gates if you wants to do 22 well bath go from north gate. Agni theertham is in-front of east gate. One should take bath at Agni theertham then go to north gate for 22 well bath. Then go for Dharshan. That's the ideal way you can buy special Dharshan ticket as well in 100rs.

Rameshwaram..One of twelve Jyotirlinga of lord Shiva, Where we seek to get a holy Darshan of lord Shiva. All over a good place to visit.. just because only lord Shiva is there. I found the temple is not getting managed well , there is no maintenance whatever may be the reason if it will be continued like that feeling bad to write this this temple will not last for longer periods. HOPING ONE DAY EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE AND TEMPLE WILL BE TAKEN CARE BY HINDUS PEOPLE.

Mandir Campus is too big . You have to bathe in 22 holy Wells and after that you can take darshan. Shivling is soo beautiful. You will see a bunch of small temples on campus. Also you can see the best architecture in the world in the mandir. Don't forget to see the poles of the mandir.
