Ramdara temple - Hindu temple in Pune - Pune, India

A very nice place for a 1 day picnic with family or friends. The atmosphere is very nice and the location is also very good. The Ram temple is very serene and you will feel calm inside the temple. Another good thing is there are statues of Gods and famous Sants from all over India which is also good for children to know about as they ask about each statue. The pond is also of good size and well maintained and the temple situated between it gives a very nice look to it. The place was surrounded by trees and they kept many places for families or groups to sit and enjoy the picnic time and food. The place also has a good area for children to play. The only bad thing is the restrooms are very dirty and when so much of the public visit the temple then the toilets should have been maintained, but it's like a roadside corporation made public toilet.

A serene place to spend a day. The temple is located quite far from the main road so Google maps will help you. The condition of the road from the village to the temple is very poor. We visited during Diwali and were told to wait for 10 mins outside the gate as there was aarti going on. Later on the whole premise was covered with green cloth as during Diwali there is hom havan conducted in the temple and they want least disturbance, so the whole premise was shut down to worshipers. So make sure you don't visit the temple during the Diwali period if you want to see the beautiful premise as well. There are washrooms available but are not clean or well maintained. There is parking available for 4 and 2 wheelers. There is one eating outlet outside the temple. The whole surroundings are clean. Phones are allowed inside the temple. Happy Travelling!

Super awesome experience mostly when you visit during early morning hours. The birds chirping, the soothing sunlight, the soft sound of water when the ducks swim happily and much more. Its mainly super peaceful experience since we can JUST hear Nature's joyful music which makes you connect with the true self and adore the nature truly. The aura of the temple and the whole premises is so divine. One can spend hours here just gazing at how marvelous the temple looks. They also have a beautiful nature walk and some well developed tourism spots. I highly suggest all the tourists to avoid having a meal at the two restaurants which are located right near the entry of the temple premises as the food is stale and very rancid misal(a spicy curry usually made from moth beans). And the interior of the temple is absolutely spiritual. Looks like some hill station during rainy day or season.

This temple is truly a sight to behold, exuding beauty and meticulous upkeep. Nestled amidst scenic surroundings, it is adorned by a serene lake graced with fishes, turtles, and ducks leisurely gliding through its waters. The atmosphere is one of tranquility and calm. Approach road is not in good condition but manageable. Moreover, the convenience of available parking for both cars (Rs. 50) and bikes (Rs. 20) enhances the overall experience.

Very good Hindu Shiva and God Ram temple which is located in Middle of lake which makes it more beautiful. You can visit with family and friends and you can enjoy picnic also as there is open space covered with trees. If you want peace here so try to in week days as it will be very much crowded on weekends

It is a Shivalaya. Situated amidst nature and surrounded by water, the cool breeze gives peaceful and soothing vibes. With dense trees, we can relax and enjoy nature under their shade. The road leading to the temple is not maintained properly so make sure to choose your transport mode accordingly.

The Ramdara Shiv Temple near Pune, Maharashtra, has a picturesque environment. Temple has a very scenic and ancient site, rebuilt in 1970 by Dhundhi Baba, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and is also known for its depictions of Ram, Sita, and Lakshman. Temple's have enchanting surroundings And It is an ideal place to spend 2-3 hours, noting its proximity to Pune, its lush greenery, a small pond, and its beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the figures of Ram, Lakshman, and Sita. There is a possibility of spotting birds in the area.

Weekend getaway near along Pune- Solapur road. Have to go 5-6 kms from Loni Kalbhor. Don't expect good roads for now. Parking is almost 200 mtrs before the temple. Senior citizens need to think before visiting. Darshan line may be there. I recall years before there used to be no one coming apart from local people and who knew this place. It is peacful place but once crowded that peacfull environment is not there. We used to go cycling here.
