RAMCHANDRAPUR DAM - Tourist attraction in Berakural, Muraddi - Purulia, India

This dam falls under the Ramchandrapur Irrigation Scheme. The place is not that full and quite empty with one or two shops. The local vendors tried to take illegal parking charges from us so stay aware of that. The sunset looks very beautiful from this place. You can also climb up the stairs and watch how the mechanism of the dam works. The place is quite calm and peaceful with the cool breeze from the lake.

It's a really good place at sunset and sunrise this both time we will get chance to enjoy two different natural beauty , beside the hill and lake side forest also are there

A small dam surrounded with small hills. A well marked tourist spot. Goes in public holiday and at afternoon the place is crowded enough. Good place to spend some time.

Beautiful serene place, spent couple of days at this place, out of city's hustle bustle. Lots of colourful birds and butterfly's are around. Watched beautiful setting Sun behind the hills. We stayed at Spangle Wings Resort, it is a decent property with very helpful and supportive staffs. It is highly recommend to experience this property if one is visiting this area...

Its good place to spend a few hours... Away from the hustles and bustles of city it is a quiet place with a large lake and few hills around. Also small fields filled with trees .one thing to keep in mind that in the hot summer time you should avoid the middle of the day that is from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In winter you can visit anytime. Also it is a nice place to take beautiful pictures. The connecting road from the national highway is not so good but the distance from the national highway is not very far.

A Wonderful place in nature. You can enjoy Awesome Sunset in Dam area. Many resorts available for fooding and lodging in 500 meter to 1km. Tea Snacks stall also available. Good place for visit for a day
