Great selection, great quality, and great customer service!! Rarely do you find customers service, quality and a great selection all in one place!! This is a must go when in Kotagiri. I understand Ramchand's has been there for more than a 100 years! Can't say that for many places. Must be doing something right! To another 100 years! Good luck, and God bless Ramchand's!!
Ramchand square is the main junction in the Kotagiri town. It is the junction of 5 main roads. 1. Mission compound road, 2. Meledhane road, 3. Rifle range road, 4. Market road, 5. Johnston's square road. This name comes from the shop Ramchand &co which is the main land mark. All kind of shops (hotel, vegetable shop, bakery, provision store, medicals, saloon, Hadi crafts store etc) are around this square. Auto stand, tourist taxi and van, and heavy load carrying lorry stands are near to this junction.
This is an ideal place to shop when you are away from malls in the mega cities. You might find the products still as they have good choice of collection. You may not miss the malls in a small town though.

Good shop for shopping peoples.. Different types of kids playing items and gift items are available here. Beside this shop one tea stall is der.. We had a cup of tea from this stall.. Excellent tea.. Also we had sandwich and bread omlet.. Good taste

A beautiful and cozy cafe in Kotagiri. The food was just too good! And the desserts and hot chocolate were lip smacking. The couple who runs the place were too sweet and hosted us like their own kids. Definitely would recommend 5/5 !
Best place to stay in Kotagiri for a relaxing experience. The caretaker Mr. Graden is exceptionally good at tending to the guests and I should say we got more than we asked for everytime. The food is delicious and our favourite was the chicken roast!
