Ramanna Hotel is a simple eating place with no frills. In the morning they make Dosa's which are very simple and soft. One has to visit this place to eat dosa's in their purest form with no twists and twirls. After 8.30 in the morning they start serving poori also. Dosa's here are served with simple onion potato palya and coconut chutney.

It's a simple establishment ,very homely. The food is feels extremely light . The dosa just slides down ur throat like butter. Very affordable prices. Poori doesn't give out oil even when pressed.

The hotel is now renovated from a hut like structure to a solid structure. They open everyday at 7.30am but start serving by 7.50ish. They have only 2 items on the menu for breakfast..dosa and poori. The dosa is made available by 7.50am but the poori takes much longer as they mix the dough only in the morning as the open shop. Both dosa and poori are served with the same red (kempu) chutney and the aloo-onion sabzi (palya). The taste of the 2 items are good. The plating is done at one go for 10-15 customers. Each of the breakfast plates cost Rs40/-. The hotel is located right on the Bangalore - Mysore highway at the intersection of B-M highway and Malavalli road. Overall the food is good but is a lot of hype and overrated

A small place in the corner of the turning near the road going to Malavalli. Serves only nenne dosa. Any number of doses. The cost is per dosa, quite reasonable amount. Doesn't serve even coffee. Tasty dosa and chatni with potato onion dry curry. Very very small place, still enjoyed the breakfast. Only wish it served coffee and had washroom facility.

Long wait on weekends, dose was sour and is accompanied by red chatni and onion potato palya. Poori was very good

Best place to have breakfast while traveling towards Mysore or Malavalli in maddur town. The fresh white butter with the dose is simply awesome,home made taste with normal pricing

Nice, old iconic tiffin center. Serves dosa, puri bhaji.. limited menu.. but nice taste. It's a hut, with seating capacity of 15-20. So may not work for large groups.
