Long review alert !!.. It's been exactly 2.5 months since we had the Upanayanam function of my son ..before the function I had attended my nieces wedding at Balaji Banquets .. I met Mr. Vinod there and we started talking about food , catering so on and so forth .. since we liked the banquet hall we decided to book it upfront and also decided to book Ramani Caterers since it is a synonymous name with most South Indian households when it comes to weddings , Upanayanam etc .. This was done well in advance as it this gives enough time to plan and execute things in a seamless manner .. Also we decided to have the Nandi function in the hall and the menu had to be slightly from the normal one . We also had 3-4 rounds of meetings before finalising the menu for both the functions .: when we talk about South Indian cuisine , there indeed are a lot of options to choose from which makes a menu standout and we wanted it that way .. so for instance we had kesari , idli , Pongal , ulundu vadai , mix veg uttapam ( which are the regulars ) and Vinod suggested that we add Elai Adai which was unique and well appreciated .. Another very important aspect is the Bakshanam which draws variety of reviews from guests .. so we wanted to present it in a unique manner in a customised box .. Vinod insisted on a sample box to check the fit of the sweets and savouries . Last but not least , I would like to thank Subramanian Mama ( Affectionately called Ramani) - founder of Ramani Caterers who was there for both the days , taking care of each and every aspect - from looking after the guests , greeting them , inviting them to have breakfast / lunch & ensuring that hot and cold beverages are available on time .. Many guests were also asking me that whether I am related ..Till today people appreciate the arrangements , Menu and the Bakshanam I would like to the entire team of Ramani Caterers for their utmost professionalism , dedication and team work for making our function a grand success .. strongly recommended ..

Ramani Caterers have their presence in Mulund for over 22 years. A very reliable, professional and family oriented service. The food is authentic in taste and of very good quality. We have availed their service multiple times and will recommend too.

Their catering is by far the best and we were pretty pleased and satisfied by engaging the services of Ramani Caterers repeatedly on many occasions. Also their Diwali sale of sweets and savouries too are well received for years now. And ever since they have started their Diwali sales most of us are saved the botheration of having to visit Matunga for the purpose. Good service they provide close at hand and right at Mulund. I had engaged Ramani for two of my family functions with large number of guests. Ever so humble, both Ramani and son Vinod were very accommodative while finalising the menu and arrangements. I have attended many functions in Mulund where the catering was handled by Ramani and Vinod. The quality and taste of the food served has always been excellent. Vinod also is a good event manager in aesthetically arranging the food counters and tables to the absolute delight of the guests.

We had fixed them for our son's upanayanam. The overall approach was good. They were flexible to customize. The food was very tasty and of high quality. And the bakshanams were also very good. Overall a very happy experience for us. Will definitely recommend them anytime.
