This flyover made a relaxation to the heavy traffic blocks . It has a perfect view up from the bridge. It also has a vast area for parking of vehicles and even for morning jog or evening walk. It is the junction of two heavy trafficked major highways. Thanks to the decision of authorities to make the flyover here..With the completion of phase two, it will be full fledged. A job that well done. I do my morning walk around that flyover, it's lovely in the early morning.. road is damaged on starting side. And of course people throw their waste and food items under the bridge. Smell is horrible. It's not everywhere, in some areas. And there's one thing to notice that if you don't watch the side exit when you come from Calicut side there's a good chance that you miss that. Been seeing it a lot that people miss and trying to comeback in reverse and causing traffic blocks.

The NH 66 spans around 643 km in Kerala. It will be widened by 45m and completed in parts, with four sections expected to be completed by 2023.
