Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home High School (H.S.), Rahara - High school in Khardaha - 24 Paraganas North, India

I stay here and serve as a monk for this institution since last September. We run schools from primary sections upto class twelve in W B board, an autonomous degree college with post graduation facility, Primary Teachers' Training Institute (PTTI), a B. Ed. College with hostel, one big full free orphanage for Primary to class -X boys, a paying hostel for boys from class- V to X, an Industrial Training Institute ( ITI) for Class -X and Class- XI boys, a free non-formal school for the underprivileged and many other vocational courses and of course a beautiful temple is also there for the spiritual seekers and religious minded people. Sri Sri Durga puja, Sri Sri Kali Puja and Sri Sri Saraswati Puja in clay Idols are worshipped with proper rituals, pomp and gaiety in the temple apart from daily worship of Sri Sri Ramakrishna dev whose beautiful marble idol is housed in the sanctum sanctorum.

It was Saraswati pujo 2019, I visited Rahara Ramkrishna mission boys home. Those who have visited there or any other Ramkrishna mission at least once or visit on regular basis know the ambience. Peaceful, well organised. It's written there to keep silence. You won't think of talking also.

The place with full of calmness and peace. The evening prayer is one of the greatest attraction of this place. The decoration with flowers and trees is exceptional. One of the great school of the district too. The cleanliness and calmness will surely attract anyone. The school also has quality teachers with quality education. To find inner peace one should come here.

Super place for concentration and self surrender to God. Very much peaceful and less crowded place.
