Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kothar - Hindu temple in Kakurigaria - Bhadrak, India

This place is the abode of God situated in a serene village far out of the cries of a busy city. Sri Ramakrishna used to say-"do your daily household works as usual. But always keep your mind and soul in his highness the supreme God. And get the company of sadhu sants occasionally". If you want peace of mind and soul, and believe in the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Maa Sarada and Swamiji, do visit the place and get solitude in august accompaniment of Naren Maharaj and Bharat Maharaj. They also have a lot of activities of noble cause, like running coaching classes for underprivileged children of nearby villages, running weekly medical camps, relief works in and around the local villages.

Very nice place for staying in mother's lap. Just it. Others have to feel.

If you want peace far from everyday life and problems and spend time under the blessings of Thakur , Maa Saroda and Swamiji then do visit this Ashram. Maa sarada stayed here for 66 days. Everyday Mangal aroti, pujas, prarthona is performed here like every Ramkrishna Mission and Moth.

The village temple is the holiest place in the village. The holy villagers put their utmost faith on the deity inside the temple and that is the greatest asset for them in the midst of any adversity.

Very calm and quiet place for nirjan bash and meditation. Our Ma is present here. This the place of Balaram Basu's family. One can see Radhakrishna and Jagganatha which was worshipped by the family.

Maa Sarada Devi made a brief halt on her way to Puri. Very famous and pious place. The activities which the mission doing for the welfare of Kothar and nearby villages is unmatchable.
