Every other building in the campus undergoes renovation except this one. The clinics, the labs are all falling apart. Water leaking from ceiling while you getting treatment. Would definitely expect more from such a high profile hospital. There's no proper dining area also. Not sure where the student even eat.

Infrastructure wise, this is the best dental college in all of Bangalore, patient flow is really nice, well organised overall. Since it's associated with the medical college, the post graduates are exposed to lots of maxillofacial cases and those doing pediatric dentistry have general anaesthesia cases which has now become a rarity so the association with the medical college is really a huge plus. The place looks very neat, tidy, plenty of canteens right outside the campus. This college is one of the few institutes which won't come under the Rajiv Gandhi institute of dental sciences. Patient care, top marks and for UGs and PGs, I think this is one of the best in Bangalore after having seen quite a few of them in person myself.

This emergency department here is a disaster. They are not busy but they don't want to treat emergencies. They force emergencies to leave and ask me if I have psychiatric problems. They after all the evaluation by many different people and quite of few of them telling me to leave. They were forcing me to be put into psychiatric unit. When it was a dental and physical emergency. They asked me why I haven't come to OPD and was eventually sent out by them saying that I should go back to the person who had destroyed my jaw.

Please hire a receptionist before putting your phone number on public forums like this. I have tried 15calls in a span of 5 days. This is disrespectful to your customer who is a possible income of Good money into your system.

My family member with a broken tooth had visited MS Ramaiah Dental Hospital and Clinic on 21st November and an intern (Susrita) has given her the emergency treatment in the absence of a Doctor. The abscess formation was drained and a temporary cement was stuffed in the broken tooth. She was given Dr. Sophia Saud's number and was told to contact her for an appointment and not drop in without an appointment. Since then, multiple times we have called Dr. Sophia but she refuses to give an appointment and says we are running short of staffs, so the appointments are only available after 20 days? MS Ramaiah staffs are refusing to give her the treatment files, so she is not able to go to any other doctor outside as well. I don't understand, is MS Ramaiah Dental Hospital closing down or are the dentists and endodontists fleeing MS Ramaiah? Why there are such long waits for appointments for treatment?? MS Ramaiah Dental Hospital has just become a money minting machine where they trap the patients and then delay their treatment. Please don't visit this hospital in case you are in need of any urgent dental treatment. Such a shame.. Doctors are very good treating patients,but very bad receptionist in room number 2 she won't be at the counter roaming , each and every patient waiting for so long, cash counter people are busy in talking phone neither doing their jobs,

Pros: The treatment and management is good, cost effective and students ve good knowledge. Cons: Student Dr.s lack being human, humble and caring. Especially some of the northies (in my opinion) are too egoistic. I ve taken Treatment 3 times - recently from Ms. Deepa(Kerala) & Ms. Eva and 3-4 Years back from Ms. Ojaswi. All three no doubt ve gr8 knowledge. But difference is Dr. Deepa was very well mannered, decent and caring, listening to me and explaining everything abt treatment, etc; while Eva was egoistic and careless in all manners. This affects the Dr-Patient Relation and also the quality of treatment. The same happened before with Ojaswi as well. After both these treatments, I had to visit another Dr for better treatment. Its Better lecturers emphasize on teaching em ethics, professionalism, manners and humanity. Lecturers never come to us to check whether students are treating good and well mannered etc...

Worst place to study. You can see that all the good reviews are by patients only but the plight of students is worse than slaves. Non-teaching staff like Dean's secretary, illiterate & unqualified nurses, housekeeping staff abuse students (even MDS students) verbally, behave with them very rudely, exploit the students for their personal and official work. Patient inflow is way higher than what all students and interns put together can handle. Students are over worked and exhausted, the only motivation that keeps them going is the experience they are gaining.
