The Rama Tirtham has been built on the Gandamadhana Parvata and is henceforth also known as the Gandamadana. The temple has a chakra where there are imprints of Lord Rama and on that chakra those impressions have been carved really well. This place a bit distanced from Dhanushkodi, that is the place where Rama and Vibhishana met.
Lord Rama is said to have taken bath in this Theertham, worshipped and took rest here. The tank has lot of fishes. Devotees enjoy feeding these fishes. We can see the floating stone at the entrance, which you can physically touch & lift with your hands. It gets heavier and heavier when water drains out.
Nice temple with idols of Sri Rama , sita and lakshman. The temple has a good sized kalyani with lots of fish. We can feed the fish and relax sitting on the steps of kalyani. There is enough parking space for cars. Sri Krishna temple is adjacent to this temple. We can also see the floating stones kept near the kalyani.
