Ram-Kund - Watering hole in Bhuj - Kachchh, India

This is a quick stopover and a place that's beautiful for taking pictures. It is small area but looks beautiful because of its structure. There were photo shoots happening when I was here and there is no entry fee as such. There was a temple at the entrance and there was an old uncle taking care of it. The step well formation looks lovely in the capture, however the water has started to get dirty as people throw away their plastic waste out here which was sad to see. Also, since the place is small when people come in large numbers or if there is a photoshoot happening, it will be difficult to get a clear view of this place.

This is an old stepwell that is not in use at the moment. This is being maintained by the Archaeology department and you might find the locals using this as a shooting spot. Entrance Fee: Free Car Parking: Roadside Restroom Facility: Not Available Food Availability: Not Available

Visited Jan 2020. See attached pics. Nice stepwell (steppond ? ;-). Symmetric steps on all sides. Clean, when I was there a caretaker was sweeping the place. Difficult to get a photo of the entire stepwell. I went to a neighbouring house to get a full pic. Some of the panos I attached are a bit wonky.

One of must visit place in Bhuj city. Beautiful kund having great symmertical architecture seren place. Also there's one little temple beside of it. Kund should be maintained.

Ramkund is the ancient stepwell in the center of city!! One of the most popular historical place. The walls of the well have beautiful carvings design!!!!

The place seems good in photos but unfortunately it is not well maintained. One wouldn't like staying even 10 minutes at the place. Water seems to be hazardous. Some cleaning might make the place really beautiful

Worst place don't go there nothing to see, just a waste of time no one goes there, kund is really dirty not proper cleaning.

Beautiful ancient place Very well constructed
