ONE OF THE MY FAVORITE PLACE OF RANCHI IN WHICH I LIKE THE MOST PEACEFUL AND CLEAN PARK WITH ALL THE CHILDRENS,TEENAGERS,ADULTS COME HERE TO JOGGINGS,RUNNINGS DO THEIR YOGAS, EXERCISES AND DO THEIR GYM PARK IN MORNING AND EVENING EVERYDAY.HERE YOU CAN GET MANY COAT FOR DIFFERENT GAMES LIKE CRICKET,FOOTBALL,ARCHERY, VOLLEYBALL,TENNIS,BADMINTON WITH SMALL RIDES AVAILABLE FOR THE KIDS LIKE SISO,JHOOLA,SLIDERS AND MANY MORE.HERE ENTRANCE IS FREE OF COST.I AM VERY GLADE TO SEE THE PEOPLE OF RANCHI ARE VERY CONCIOUS TO THEIR HEALTH. #lets guide This playground count in famous playgrounds. The people come here for exercising,playing,walking,running,reading, looking. The place is fully crowded in morning and evening. Everyone do there work. Some people come here to learn driving. This place is really likable place. Sometimes the cricket and football tournament are organised. In this playground mostly played cricket.

Beautiful park nice place to visit everyday in evening for good health and clean environment fresh air. Small bridge in this park it's so beautiful. If your mood is not good so visit this park.

Good place and you can spend your time with family... Also with friends. A big field you can play some games and practice any games like crossbow and others, free gym available in this park.

there is no maintainance of the park.... litters are scattered all over..... and I don't understand why such a park charges entry fee

Munda got an opportunity for getting higher education in linguistics in an interdisciplinary atmosphere, from an ambitious research project of the University of Chicago, on the Indic group of the Austroasiatic languages under the guidance of Norman Zide . Munda received his PhD from the University of Chicago[3] and was subsequently appointed in the faculty of Department of South Asian Studies. Later, at the request of then Vice-Chancellor, Kumar Suresh Singh, he started a Department of Tribal and Regional Languages. The department was the rallying point for all social politico activists engaged in finding out ways to change the internal colonial situation the people of Jharkhand were faced with. Many students passed out from the department and formed a body " All Jharkhand Students Union" (AJSU) pushing for formation of an intellectual base for the maintenance of the Jharkhand Movement which was already going at that time. This indirectly contributed to Munda's appointment as Vice-Chancellor of Ranchi University in 1985. As a result, he became a medium of political dialogue between the state and the movement of the people. Therefore, the Committee on Jharkhand Matters was formed to initiate the formation of the new state of Jharkhand. [2] Retirement and later work Munda retired in 1999[2] but he continued to his involvement with the cultural mobilisation of the people. He was also the policy maker at the UN Working Group on Indigenous People at Geneva and the UN Forum of Indigenous Issues in New York, as a senior official of the ICITP, all India tribal led and managed movement. [2] Munda has written several books and was a consultant and participant in important issues of the adivasi people of the country. [2] He represented his country in the Festival of India in the USSR , and other cultural events in China, Japan and South East Asia . [2]
