Raki Modern Mezze and More - Restaurant in Panaji - North Goa, India

Just excellent! The food, the service and the ambience are all top notch. One of the best Turkish food I've had in India! All of dishes are so perfectly curated and taste so rich that you can tell the kitchen team is strong. All of the flavours are so spot on. Some dishes I definitely recommend to try: Hummus Bin Lamh: the perfect appetiser, the flavour of the lamb is perfect. It is so creamy and rich. Just amazing. Chicken shawarma plate: a deconstructed chicken shawarma plate. It comes with perfectly spiced chicken and a plate of pickled veggies and fresh mint. You can mix and match the hummus, chicken and veggies according to your palate. Chicken chello kebab: the herb rice is so light and flavourful and somehow has a flavour of ghee/butter. I personally did not like the tomato salsa AT ALL it tasted very pungent and strong. Very offputting. However, I did not like the manakish zaatar. The zaatar had a very weird taste to it. Not like I've had before so I did not prefer it. For the drinks: I had the date shake which was super thick and sweetened to perfection. So simple but really heavy. Lastly the best part was definitely the K'nafi Jibneh. It was melt in the mouth, super decadent and rich. The best possible way to end your meal. Finally, the entire experience was amazing. The place is quite costly but it gives you a fine dine experience and good quality food so it's great to visit atleast once.

An excellent restaurant! The bar menu has been very carefully curated with the best of spirits, wines, liqueurs and beers.... The cocktails that they have 'crafted' seem interesting and I do intend to have one or two on my next visit..... The food menu is again varied and appetizing. However, if you aren't majorly into Mediterranean cuisine, it would be best to seek recommendations from the very amiable and knowledgeable staff, giving them your preferences, restrictions, allergies etc. Rest assured the staff will ensure you have a great meal! The hummus was par excellence! The salad accompaniments were fresh and crisp besides being cut and seasoned to perfection! Lamb was recommended to us and it sure was very nicely prepared! The ice-creams are nice but we found them to be a bit too sweet, but then chefs in India do deliberately extra sweeten their confectionery to cater to the extra sweet palates of most Indians! Interestingly, there's a nice section of north Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes along with Indian breads for those who aren't too keen on Mediterranean dishes. And, most crucially (from my personal perspective) they have very nice Raki imported from Turkey! Located very centrally in Panjim, this is a place I would recommend strongly without hesitation. If you decide to go for lunch then you have the added pleasure of breathtaking view of the sea from the 11th floor of the Crescent Hotel where this lovely little restaurant is. On Sundays they have a branch buffet, the description of which by the staff was quite fascinating and inviting. To the management and staff of the Raki - I would say, keep up the great job, do not cut corners and maintain the niche which you have creatively carved for yourselves! All the very best!

Visited this place after a long delibration, and it was absolutely great. The kurkuri bhindi was super crunchy and tangy. The Thetcha Hummus was innovative and tasty as well. The shawarma was quite filling. The Chello Kebab (Broccoli) was so aromatic and the flavour was just delicious. Both the mocktails- ice tea and orange cooler were very refreshing and subtle. The view from the 11th floor was fantastic. The knafe Ice cream was decent but a bit over priced and had more Rose syrup than we would like. Vinod was quite helpful in his service.

Awesome place. The view is simply mesmerizing. The restaurant is on the 11th floor and you feel you're directly on the sea. Perhaps the best place to have Arabian food in panaji. We had pita bread alongwith with variations of hummus. It was simply awesome and out of this world. So yummy The ambience is awesome, and the service is excellent. The incessant rains made the views even more beautiful! A place where you would like to come again and again

Lovely place to have delicious lebanese cuisine. The ambience is quaint and nice with an amazing view. We had an infant with us. The staff was very cordial and nice. They offered watermelon for the baby without asking. The food was yummy. We ordered hummus raki and chicken kabsa which were very flavourful. Although the flavours are mild, they come out really nice. The orange cooler was refreshing. I would recommend going there.

The food at Raki is simply mind blowing. The kebabs are succulent, the hummus is like never before, the lamb is delicious and the biryani is delectable too. Mocktails were interesting too and extremely refreshing. Our choice of dessert was a thin crust pizza base with chocolate and nuts (can't remember the name) Kunal plays host and is an extremely soft spoken and polite gentleman who knows what he does. He is attentive and his recommendations were great. We had 2 toddlers with us and he really helped out with them. The flip side of the experience was frequent power cuts but didn't cause much of a disturbance. The lady at the entrance could certainly do with smiling a bit more as the first impression makes a huge difference. Will definitely be back.
