Rakabi The Fern - An Ecotel Hotel, Igatpuri - Hotel in Igatpuri - Nashik, India

This is the third Fern Hotel we stayed in past 15 days. By far, this is the best experience with Fern hotel. The front desk location is kind of awkward and one has to think a little before you can find it behind the building. Once we get it behind, the front desk staff was really welcoming and eager to help us with our stay. This was way better than the previous Fern hotels we stayed at. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Unlike other Fern hotels we stayed at, house Keeping came within the first hours to make sure we have everything in our rooms or if we need anything more. Unlike restaurants at other Fern hotels where we had deplorable experiences, the restaurant at this location is outstanding! The food is superb, service is great and good ambiance.

Spent the last 2 days at the hotel. The rooms were spic an span. Very comfortable.The staff were very attentive and hospitable. The breakfast spread was very good. It is mainly a veg restaurant with limited non veg menu but the Chef was excellent. The food was amazing. Congrats to the Management.

Visited in Jul 2023 with family. Superb location, excellent food & very clean and hygienic rooms. I would rate 4 stars only for these factors. However two major issues, no recreational activities except swimming pool. Chess and carrom are available but the room is under construction so very limited space for indoor games. I visited on my birthday, the staff didn't even bother to wish me. Their website says free upgrade, 1st day rooms were occupied but next day after pushing them multiple times only then they agreed to upgrade. This is the difference when you stay in a 5 star & a 3 star hotel. Also the staff needs training, we were told we cannot have ala carte in Melange restaurant which serves non veg & has a live music program in evening. We wanted to listen to the live program but were not allowed to do so. We had to go back to room, wait for 45 mins for the order to be delivered in our room. Very poor experience. Next day manager told us that we can have ala carte in Melange which was shocking since we were denied by restaurant staff.

Recently stayed in this hotel for a quick monsoon trip. I had booked premium room which has highway and field view. The hotel is conveniently located on Mumbai Nashik highway. There are various tourist spots within 10 km from the hotel.Check in was smooth and hassle free. Rooms are clean and spacious. Rooms are aesthetically designed and have all the modern amneties.Room service was quick but you can expect some delay during meal timings. Food was average in taste but you can avail several restaurant options closeby. Hotel has a children's play area, swimming pool and indoor play area. Overall a pleasant stay at a good price.

The only saving grace about this place is the location. The standard of service here is the same as that of. Rs1000 OYO even after paying Rs20,000 for a room. Room service is pathetic. Restaurant has the audacity to bill you for food that is unavailable or they will send substitutions based on their whim. Go across the road to one of the dhabas or restaurants for much better and reasonably priced food.

Excellent hotel with warm and courteous staff. The rooms were superbly maintained and seem almost new. Food was excellent too. Only the location is a bit odd being in the middle of nowhere but if you want to spend a nice weekend in Igatpuri and don't mind driving to nearby locations to see then this is a supremely value for money option.

The fruit platter (so called ) served in the room was of very poor quality, ever after complaining in there at the Hotel and feedback to the Hotel there was no accountability, responsibility, ownership, feedback of the issue it seems they "turn a deaf ear". I suspect some lapses in following the SOP (standard operating procedures) So keep your fingers crossed if you plan to visit. Also the buffet served in the dinner had limited options and poor quality as per their projected Hotel standard and one would return hungry...

A Mixed Experience at Rakabi the Fern IgatpuriAs a frequent traveler, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Rakabi the Fern Igatpuri, and while it was overall a decent experience, there were a few aspects that left room for improvement.One of the highlights of my stay was the cleanliness of the rooms. They were well-maintained and up to the mark, providing a comfortable and pleasant ambiance. Additionally, the location of the hotel on the Mumbai-Agra national highway was convenient for travelers.The general cleanliness in and around the hotel was commendable, with one exception. Unfortunately, the reception area fell short in terms of cleanliness, as the couches were adorned with dirty cloths that appeared to have been neglected for quite some time. It was disappointing to see such a lapse in an otherwise well-maintained property.Regarding the dining experience, Rakabi the Fern Igatpuri offers a restaurant called SpiceDella on the ground floor. They advertised a 10% discount for hotel guests and requested us to share our room number while ordering. This information was also provided and the welcome file we received upon check-in. However, despite meeting these requirements, we did not receive the promised discount on our bill. This inconsistency was disheartening and left us feeling let down.A significant concern during our stay was the frequent power fluctuations. We experienced several blackouts, although the light was eventually restored. These interruptions negatively impacted our office work and overall stay experience, which was especially disappointing given the price we paid for our stay at the hotel.In conclusion, Rakabi the Fern Igatpuri offered a great stay with clean and well-maintained rooms, conveniently located on the Mumbai-Agra national highway. However, certain areas such as the reception's cleanliness and the lack of the promised discount at the restaurant left us slightly disappointed. The frequent power fluctuations further affected our experience, hindering our work and enjoyment during the stay. Taking these factors into account, I would rate my experience at Rakabi the Fern Igatpuri as 3.5 out of 5 stars.
