RAK Mart - Store in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

RAK mart is literally the best grocery and store of all of the ones that we have been to in Varkala. There are three floors. The first flor is for groceries, the second floor is for household items, and the third floor is for textiles. We were so excited to be in such a big grocery store after so many months traveling, I think we must have spent an hour in here just looking at all the choices they had for everything. The produce was inside and fresh and they had a very big variety. We purchased grapes, oranges, tomatoes, ginger, cucumber, carrots. We were able to find many other items we love as well like 3-in-1 Nescafe instant coffee ( that wasn't milk coffee!), honey, cashews, snickers, cereal, eggs.... the obligatory frozen french fries... (you know just in case midnight snacking). More than anything though - we have to say - the staff...everyone that works at the RAK is absolutely amazing. They were so patient with us. The spent time talking with us and explaining different foods we had not heard of. They laughed with us. Basically, we just really had such a wonderful exchange and experience at the RAK Mart. We thank all of you. We will absolutely return!! Thank you so much!

Good supermarket. Fresh meat also available. One of all in all supermarket in varkala

RAK is a new supermarket in Varkala. But i think it is one of the best supermarket in town. It also has a best bakery inside incase you wanna buy some snacks. Pricing is kinda much the same when compared to other supermarkets. There is an area for parking also. Overall it's a very good one.

Milk powder, chocolate, eggs, food profucts etc are not keeping under safe a/c temperature. Parking area not sufficient

What ever you want you would get in there including electronics vegetable and meat

They sell imported items too. I found a variety of things there.

Quality products and good service

One stop option for all grocery shopping. Always buy dry fruits, they are of good quality. They even sell fresh meat in a reasonable rate. Not all fruits and veggies will be fresh all the time. Ground floor is grocery and fresh food. First floor is stationery and household items and second floor is textile.
