Raju Bharti's Guest House - Featured Reviews (323)
I stayed at Raju's for 4 amazing nights. This place is absolutely magical. Rooms are clean and the food is really good. Varoon the manager is very attentive and helpful. All and all it is a lovely homestay at an amazing location close to the magnificent Great Himalayan National Park.
We had a great stay here. The place is so scenic and quiet. The house is like an art piece, so beautiful. The way to reach the house crossing the river adds to the experience. The dogs on the property are very friendly. Service staff were very well behaved and helpful. Food was decent. People managing are genuine and polite. Appreciate the importance given to sustainable maintainance of the place. You would see only one or two things made out of plastic & everything else is of natural materials. Got to know about this place from Ronnie & Barty vlogs and the stay experience was totally worth it.
The most beautiful, humble and soulful homestay in Himachal. The food is tasty and the owners are welcoming and helpful. A peaceful abode away from the chaotic world in the laps of Himalaya and banks of Tirthan. Thank you Varun, Karan and Mr. Raju Bharti for your warmth. Highly recommended!
I have stayed in a lot of places around this area but this place is very rustic, unique and different from any other regular homestay.
I have been there during 2011 time for mountain biking and stayed about 5-6 days there. It was lovely back then and I can just hope that it's the same. The beautiful Himalayan surrounding is unmatched, however the general area is lovely too. The place is clean, well done and offers very nice and fresh food choices, for a vegetarian, it was a treat! One must explore the area around and take the trail to the great Himalayan national park entry!
A gobsmacking location that will take days to get used to, I managed to book last minute and was fortunate enough to secure an entire top floor area next to the river rapids, it was heaven, from the old National Geographics to the quirky furnishings, the incredibly delicious food, gorgeous gardens and details like the fire pit, tea & biscuits on arrival and the zip wire crossing over the river! Rooms are charged on an all inclusive rate including all meals. A one person stay in the multi bedroom apartment I had cost 2,500 rupees. Varun Bharti who you mainly interact with was very helpful in sourcing a couple of food and drink requests and when I felt unwell after my trek, he let me check out late the next day. Top tip: let the resident dogs take you on a walk! And look out for the ripening cherries in May / June, after which the many trees of apples will begin to ripen in July onwards. Highly recommend!
Charming place run by a lovely family. Beautiful setting next to the river and within a steep valley. Great food too. We stayed here in November 2022, during which we took a stunning hike to the entrance of the Great Himalayan National Park and a trip up to traditional villages high up in the hills.
Simply the best homestay experience in the world. True to the word homestay. With excellent food and hospitality. Very cozy rooms that are fragrant with the smell of pine. Beautiful fruit trees and flowers and so well maintained. A real delight of an experience. The hosts are kind people and take great care of the guests. Even the animals are loving because they pick up on the vibes. All in all worth every penny.
