Rajs Happy Place Restaurant - Bar in Calangute - North Goa, India

We have been to Raj's Happy Place a number of times since we arrived. I can't find fault anyway. Love the food. We are always treated well.

My husband and I had dinner here every day last week whilst we were in Goa, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, the owners were lovely. Rather than going to a restaurant it felt more like going to meet friends for dinner. I highly recommend the roast dinner, steak pie, cottage pie and maccoroni cheese.

The staff is good they look after you...groups can enjoy easily..mild music...nice food and drinks...great ambiance

The atmosphere of the place during evening and night hours is special. You come back after I noisy day to take a shower and come down to have your meal in the place. The staff are very good The food is 5 stars good

Pathetic behaviour of the owner who handed over the bill to us while we were still planning to order something. Just because they entertain only foreigners. I stay in Calangute only went there for a short break and was surprised to see such a lame attitude towards customers. Never going back. Avoid going there to save your day.

We went today as it was near where we were staying and it was raining. We have an infant and a toddler and it was my husband's birthday also. Had read really nice reviews of the place but was thoroughly disappointed. There were some foreigners having a karaoke party and the waiter told us not to keep our infant on the table as "they" would get offended. When we asked him, he was like he doesn't allow kids on the table, we asked him how we would eat food. Then in some time a lady came and said that the cook is late, therefore we would only have to order drinks until he came, almost making it seem that we had to leave. So we left. Felt really disgusted to be treated badly in our own country when foreigners are preferred and we are treated almost like thrash.

Peaceful place. Good food. Only continental foods available. All dishes are not equally tasty. Though crowd is good.

This is my favourite place . Because , I worked there for two seasons. This was one of the best places of work. The employees all worked as a team and had the main goal to please the patrons of the restaurant. Very enjoyable place to work and highly beneficial monetarily.
