Rajmata Jijau Statue - Historical landmark in Sindkhed Raja - Buldhana, India

Very well maintained.....An historical place everyone should visit and see....

There is nothing much to see. But still its good place to visit once

One of the most historic places to visit.. Rajmata Jijau Aue Saheb.. With a great history attached this is one of the most important place you can visit. Just have to come on time, all the places including this fort will be closed at 5pm, they should have increased the timing for sure.

Recently visited sindhatek fort ( Jijamata's place of birth) It's good but nothing much to see (under construction) COVID norms are followed only few people are allowed at a time .

As of April 2019 the structure is a construct site. What we where told is its going to take another Year. So.only when its complete will we know if the place is worth a visit. There is a small garden but cant justy the cost of entry.

It's an amazing place, it can be a really historical touristic spot and it is good for someone who wants to know the history of Maratha dynasty.

Jijamata, (Rajmata Jijau) was born on 12 January in 1598, at Sindhkhedra in Buldhana district. Rajmata Jijau was the Matoshree of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Hinduvi empire.Today this place is not only a historical place but also a tourist destination. Jijau Maa Saheb was born on 12 January 1598 in the Bhuikot palace. The Rajwada, which has an impressive grand entrance, is situated near the Mumbai-Nagpur highway in Sindhkhed Raja. There is also a garden built in the same area of municipality. Here is the place of worship of Lakhujirao Jadhav. This magnificent thing is bigger than the whole Hindu Rashtra Samadhi of India. The place where Jijau played the color is the palace of the palace. In this Mahal, the marriage of ShahajiRaje and Jijau was discussed.
