I know this restaurant for more than 25 yrs. Just at s car st bus stop. Only authentic north indian food restaurant. A noon lunch and nt . Chappathi in a noon with subjis. Nt aloo paratha and chappathi. Non ac. Only 11 members can sit. Pan is available. Free street parking.
Big chappathis and nice yellow sabji and yellow dal. Original North Indian taste. Young decently dressed chaps doing fresh chappathis continuosly like in a busy factory. The shop is crowded even at 9.30 PM at night. They get huge order of fresh big paan with gulucond they make for Rs 20.
Great Homely north Indian food. Basic menu: aloo parota and plain Fulka. Warm service

This place is run by a very sweet Marwari family from Rajasthan. The food is absolutely delicious and reminded me of my home food. I would recommend any north indian visiting Chidambaram to eat here and you would forget about eating anywhere else in the city. The brothers running the show are very polite and friendly and the care for customers show in their behaviour. Lucky to have discovered this place.
