Rajiv Gandhi Joggers Park - Park in Navi Mumbai - Thane, India

Jogging track is on the banks of a small Lake which is created artificially. The track is lined with trees and sort of man made forest on one side and the lake on the other side. It's a very popular destination and it's quite crowded on weekends. It is also popular for lovers. The track is dotted with gazebos and benches to take rest and to enjoy nature. It is also part of Vashi minny shore. Near the entrance on right hand side are toys for children to play. One can make a full circle around the lake which is approximately 3 kilometres. So the track is very good for beginners to expert marathon practitioners. One can also enjoy a boat ride in the lake. Very nice place for families and couples. Since its close to the creek, one can get a very fresh sea air quite away from pollution

Went in the evening with bunch of friends during weekend so it was little crowded. The sunset view was excellent and beautiful here and have captured them but the foul smell of the water is a negative point here..while walking further the smell will go and you can take a good walk. The MI toilet there is very untidy and stinks a lot so stay away from using them. In front of the main gate of park in the evening is too risky because too much mosquitoes biting you while waiting for our cab for 10 to 15 mins. Dress accordingly to the place because people there will stare at you if you wear short clothes which is sad.

Best park to do jogging in morning and have open gym as well.it is near fortis hiranandani hospital.

The best thing about this park is i.e its good for jogging and as well workout also here.

Beautiful trail for joggers and walkers and for general public to spend some quality time in nature. With peace and greenery everywhere, one can explore this jungle-like area in the late afternoon. Beware of mosquitos though; they can be a real menace.

Best place to go for morning walk if you stay in Vashi. The whole circuit is around 2-3 kilometers. While you walk you get the freshness in the air as the place is surrounded by green lush plant and a water reservoir to the other side. The Government has put a lot of effort to keep the place clean and well maintained. No matter whenever you go you will always find this place spick and span. There is lot of morning rush around 6-8 AM, except these hours this place is generally quiet and calm. You would find the solace when you meditate because of the freshness of air and the quietness. On the other end of the circuit you would find mangroves plants and from a certain location you would definitely see the flamingos which come during a specific season as they are migratory birds I love that such a beautiful place exists in Navi Mumbai.
