Rajhuns Deluxe - Lodge in Kolhapur - Kolhapur, India

I want to give ZERO stars to this hotel, but Google does not give this option. I had the worst experience by booking a room in Rajhans Delux at Kolhapur. I had booked an AC Family room 7 days in advance by making part payment online. Due to medical reasons, I had asked for a room on the ground floor, which was confirmed by the owner. On arriving, at 5:15pm, it was told to me that the ground floor room was given to some other group and I had been given a room on the 2nd floor. I had 2 senior citizens who cannot climb stairs, and one family member with heart issues. After a lot of arguments and clear refusal, the manager gave us a temporary non AC room to get fresh, which was in the backside and right in front of the common toilet. It was so embarrassing for my family. After this, the actual booked AC family room was given to us after 8:30 in the night. Due to this, my family was sitting like status in the reception for long hours. For some time I made them sit in the car and kept the AC on. The manager was so rude and he made all possible ways to pressure us to take the 2nd floor room. I tried calling the owner, with whom I had talked and booked the room, but he did not pick up my call. I did at least 15 calls. It was also told to me that there is ample space for parking the car. In reality, the hotel's main door is right on the busy road. And I had to park my car right in front of the main door of the hotel. It was very risky as the road is too narrow which could be enough to pass 2 cars simultaneously. I had been cheated by this hotel and also got nothing but a frustration. I would recommend, NOT to book a room in this hotel; instead it is better to live roadside.

The hotel was great at hospitality. Clean and tidy. We had a Perfect stay!!

The staff is very friendly, but the room does not feel fresh. The toilet is clean but there are too many bugs around the bathroom wall. Very small window but the window does not have a net so it is unusable. Also does not have proper parking.

Very near to the temple, staff was helpful thou we had a very bad experience. Our remote was not working I remember when we checked in as our toddler needs it to see some cartoons while eating. But as we were in hurry to leave for temple forgot and when we came back informed the desk. They blamed the remote being put in water by us. Wow asked us to pay we paid as the Amt was not too much and with family you don't want any issues anywhere. But imagine if next time they say the TV is not working so we pay for their new TV. The owner needs to know this and check on this to avoid bad experiences. This is just for his reference and also to all who are checking in kindly check all equipment's with the staff to avoid this kind of situation.

The rooms were dirty. The manager was rude. Unwashed bedsheets, pillows. Walls were too dirty. No window to the room. My mistake was that i booked the room without seeing the room. They charged me 2000Rs for single night with small toom and tere was a door between our room & beside room. Set Of box was also not working. Very bad experience

Pros : Very near to Temple Cons: No Parking, they mention they have parking at the time of booking. Below avg service. Staff not helpful at all. Quality of rooms is poor. Bedsheets were dirty. Pillows don't have pillow cover. TV not working.

Rooms are average but not happy with the service they provide. Sheets were not clean. Lack of coordination in staff.Only good thing is it is situated near temple. And I have also noticed that they charge 20/- for using their toilets by female tourists ( not their customers).

Rooms were ok however needs some maintenance. Location is near to the temple that is the plus point. Also the service provided by the desk members is really appreciating.
