This medical institute and hospital have huge green campus in bihar and jharkhand. Available of doctors and other staff are sufficient but not completely sufficient. Government needs more vacancy of medical staff. Medical services is almost well many Senior doctor have very good experience in their field. Clean environment but need more. Easy to reach here from any side of india by train and aeroplane also. Local vehicle also helpfull to reach this institute. All staffs behaviour good.

Government hospital with all kind of medical facilities Could be more cleaner, but it is government hospital so that's what you get here in Jharkhand. Patients come from all over the state to get themselves treated. You'll find people sleeping on the corridors, it is a weird view to see. Underprivileged people are the most who come here, and hospital tries their best to serve them. Most of the staff are extremely rude though, but nurses and doctors are kinda chill, but they seem to be frustrated as well. I guess that's because of the demography they are serving for.

Poor and lower middle class oral cancer patients will finally get relief from mounting surgical bills starting this month, as the oncology wing of state-run RIMS in Ranchi plans to start surgeries in full steam. Cost of oral cancer surgeries at private hospitals usually starts at Rs 2 lakh and often goes beyond. At RIMS, patients would have to pay for medicines, but surgery and chemotherapy will be free. Oral or mouth cancer commonly involves the tongue, but may also occur on the floor of the mouth, cheek lining, gums, lips, or palate (the roof of the mouth. So far, RIMS treated oral cancer in early stages through radiation. "Confirmed through biopsy for oral cancer, minute nodes or oncogenic small tumours, are given radiation," Dr Khan said. "But from this month, we will do surgeries also. We want to let the general public know we are equipped to handle oral cancer surgeries," he stressed.
