Rajdeep Hotel - Hotel in Ranikhet - Almora, India

This is a honest review. Their is not one good thing about this hotel. I got better deal with other hotel la where they atleast served tea and soap, comb brush and other toiletries. The room of price 2000 was too small to even breath and the 2500 one was very filthy and it was not even correct price,they just asked for more because of emergency. My wet feet got black after walking barefoot.the toilet was dirty, The staff was not friendly and treated us like we should thanks them to give us rooms. The drinking water dirty and smelly. Sheats was not clean and the bed was filthy. The voices can heard outside of the room. I got infection after sleeping there so try other hotel in ranikhet but not this. Not worth 2500 Rs. They lie about the price.

Worst Experience ever, bad service, worst behaviour, no water supply, dirty washrooms, not a place for family and hygiene point of view. strongly not recommended.

Best in Ranikhet stay in at Rajdeep hotel and restaurant.

I stayed at this hotel in November 2022. Hotel has many cons then pros. The location is good. Pros. Hotel has parking for 2-3 vehicles in front of hotel building which is decent as per hill location ,And Staff is descent. There is veg restaurant in ground floor of hotel. Cons. 1. Hotel rooms are very dirty. 2.There are dirty used utensils, glasses In newly prepared room. 3. There are no hot water fascility in hotel. Not geaser and immersion rod. , which is necessary in hill station. 4. Bathrooms and toilets are dirty 5 Room furniture is very much dirty and not well maintained. 6. Room service telephone in rooms are not in working condition. 7. Poor room service fascility. 8. Bed sheets and blankets are quite dirty. 9.drain pipes are leaky and smelly. 10. there is no soap towel toothpaste fascility in hotel.

Be Cautious, reviews are fake, paid and sponsored with some discounts on bill. Worsened food ever I seen. Surprisingly Rotten rice was served. Bad taste in main course veggies too. We were about to leave the place but just not want to dishonor the food. Returned two plates of veggies and rice... My wife returned without taking a bite. Staff is shameless.

Location is very good. But room was smelly. Bathrooms are not so clean. Hot water comes daily at 7 am after 10 am don't expect hot water. Please don't drink water given by hotel. Always drink mineral water. View was good but sunrise or sunset not properly visible from balcony. I will not prefer food from hotel, it's a bit costly with low quality. Cheap hotel.

Location of the hotel is gud. Its on main sadar bazar market. But the facilities in hotel are one of the worst I have experienced. In such a cool place you don't get geyser in washroom. Hot water is supplied thorough main boiler for a very short duration 7:30 Am to 9 Am only in 24 hrs. Dont expect a double bed size blanket for you in a double bedroom. They provide a single bed blanket that too very light. No bed sheet only mattress covers. Now price to value ratio Its price should be not more than 500 per day. Its like some dhramshala.

This hotel act like they are the best in Ranikhet. The first time went in Ranikhet in April, 2018, I had booked a room here for 750/- through hard bargain from 1000/-. I was really surprised by the Hot water problem which persist in almost every hotel there, even to this day. They give you a bucket of hot water in morning for bathing and that's it. No geyser or heater provided whatsoever. Their rooms were also kinda old school and worth not more than 700 bucks. The second time I went there a week ago, they asked 1500/- for the same room, more dingy than ever, with the same water crisis. When I asked them to come at around 1000/1200 they refused. I realized that this "sophisticated", "high profile" and luxurious place is not for me and then I leaved.
