Beauty at its best. It might be bit hot but the view is worth it.
It is a wild life sanctuary located in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh. It is naturally very beautiful. You can see the waterfall here, take a bath and spend your whole day having fun admist the jungles.
Rajdari, Devdari near Varanasi are a very popular picnic spot for tourists and local people of Varanasi and nearby places. For those who are aware of these waterfalls, it is a major attraction near Varanasi. I noticed so many tourists already enjoying in Rajdari waterfalls when we arrived because it is a major picnic spot for the locals of Varanasi and nearby cities such as Jaunpur. People are attracted by the sheer beauty of the place. It is a pity that not much is written in the mainstream media and traditional travel guidebooks about such obscure and offbeat destinations of Uttar Pradesh. Since U.P. is my home state, I wanted to change that through this detailed guide on Rajdari Devdari waterfalls with a bonus feature on the nearby Aurwatand canyon and Waterfalls. The beauty of the grand canyons which were formed over several centuries of erosion by water and wind is hard to explain in words, pictures and videos. These are some of the best offbeat places to visit near Varanasi or Banaras. During my visit, I observed that this untouched region near Varanasi has tremendous potential for further development of tourism. Several efforts to make eco-tourism here a reality can already be seen. The areas around areas of Chandauli, Sonebhadra, Mirzapur and Ghazipur district can turn into a tourist magnet if things work as planned.
The place was crowded on weekends and holidays. However, it's a good place to escape from the chaos of the city and spend a day amidst nature.
They should allow for more deeper area
If you want to move away for a day from the hustle and bustles of Varanasi, exploring the Vindhyachal will be ideal. Nestled in the chandrapabha forest range and 2 hours from Varanasi is the beautiful Devdari waterfalls. We went in the dry season, so weren't amused much, but i am sure it will be a sight to behold during the monsoon. The water falls in steps as it cascades in the deep gorge down below. The serenity of the place is what i liked most. Beware of monkeys.
I visited there during winter & it's not good time. Here I hardly saw water stream. But during winter environment is quiet & calm, no crowd at all. Good time to visit in Rainfall. Rajdari and Devdari both waterfalls are nearby in a campus of Chandraprabha Wildlife Sanctuary. Entry charge is Rs50/person Bike Parking - Rs20 & Car Parking - Rs100
I had excellent experience at tandoori hut. Best place to eat in chandauli district. Great ambience and totally hygienic. Fast delivery makes this place more comfortable to visit. No doubt 5 out of 5.
