Must Try their Ghee Paneer Tikki Chaat
We were looking for chat options during our recent trip to Amritsar. This place had a limited menu. The Panipuri was average but the chaat was really great.
"An overrated place" Ambience - It's a roadside eatery with outdoor sitting. It serves papdi chaat, dahi bhalla, aloo Paneer Tikki, gol gappe, dahi puri, Sev puri, papdi chat, bhel puri and kanji Aloo Paneer Tikki ( Rs 60 per plate) The deep fried aloo, paneer and peanut tikki is crispy and taste more of peanut. The curd served over it is fresh and thick. It's topped with tangy imli chutney and mild spicy coriander chutney. The taste is okay. Due to over frying the tikki had lost all the flavour of ingredients and has mild charred flavour. The imli chutney is too sour.
The food is tasty. I tasted "Dahi-Bhalla" with my friends & believe me it was too delicious. The taste of "Golgappe" was amazing. Go to this place for value of money & great taste....
We tried the paneer aloo tikki at this place and it was extremely superb! The best aloo tikki I've tasted so far! The place offered some other chaats which we gave a miss but would try it if I ever go back again. One downside was the size of the area to dine, it is a fast dining outlet where u order, eat and go without hogging onto seats. Travellers might need to take the risk to snack here if without medication as it does not seemed really hygienic.

Thought it is crowded the food we ordered was very good in taste , quality and freshness ..the place is very popular with locals and hence the crowd . We were lucky that we found a place to sit .
Awesome pani puri ... the water outstanding... the kind of craze people have for this joint is amazing .. the service is quick ... they give you things to go as well ... the manager is helpful... you might wanna go slow as they are very substantial portions... must eat if you visit golden temple
