RAJASTHAN KA SWITZERLAND [ DUMPING YARD ] - Tourist attraction in Kishangarh - Ajmer, India

This place has really nice views. There is free washroom service. Also a few food stalls are there. Best day to visit is a rainy day otherwise the marble powder get stuck on clothes and shoes.

Must visit once. Beautiful place. The marbel dust mountains look like snow mountains and the lake just makes the place even more beautiful. You can get some really marvellous pictures over here. The sun is right above in the afternoon, so don't forget to apply sunscreen and carry your sunglasses.

If you are thinking about going to this place I recommend you to go and visit this place. The place is awesome for photos and I also recommend you to carry sunglasses because the place is white and sun rays reflect in your eyes you can't see anything.

If you want to shoot for your wedding or something else then you can opt this. This place is good when it is not crowded . And half an hour to 40 mins is more than enough to visit this place. Avoid coming here in daylight . It will me more comfortable and beautiful in sunset. This place need good clothes and a very costly camera quality.

Its a good place to visit and a new kind of experience. The only drawback is obtaining visit receipt from Kishangarh Marble Association's office situated almost 1 km from the Dumping Yard and there is no proper directions to that place, one gets confused. This process could have been done in the dumping yard itself. Since it is free both entry and parking, there is a huge crowd of public and cars. To properly manage the crowd, Marble Association may consider putting parking charges/entry charges so that crowd can be managed. Also there is litter at many places even at the ponds. So, dustbins can be kept around, so that beauty is kept intact. There are no clean washrooms, the mobile washrooms ones kept there are dirty and not usable. The main washroom near Helipad is meant to be used by one person at a time. Hence, queue can be seen there also. KMA should think to make best use of the place before it gets degraded.

Nice view looks like the Rann of Kutch. Located in Kishangarh (Rajasthan), 10 mins away from the Jaipur-Ajmer highway. This place is created out of the dump yard from the local marble dust and deposits. Maintained by Kishangarh Marble Association (KMA) and requires a local pass (no fees) from the KMA office to enter. Videography and digital camera requires fees to be paid.
