Rajali Birds Park - Tourist attraction in Thanjavur - Thanjavur, India

Rajali Birds park is located just opposite to the Big Temple (Brihadeeswara Temple). Entry fee for this place is 150 rupees for both Adults and Kids. I feel the cost can be revised (reduced) by the management team to seek more attention from the audience. They are providing some green leaves for Ostrich while we collect the ticket at the entrance. We can feed/give the green leaves to the Ostriches. Following there were a couple of wide huts available where we can find different types of birds (like chickens). They were so beautiful, that's the reason they were in the room(!?). After that, we can find a wide area for small parrots. This place is an open area, we need to enter their place and feed them as well. Before entering the place, they will give a small spoon of grains to feed the birds. We need to keep it in our palm and open it to attract the birds. The bird(s) will sit on our palm and have their food. We can enjoy those moments, especially kids will enjoy these moments. Unlike other places, they are not charging any money for photography. There are a couple of other areas also available to directly play with the animals like rabbits and dogs. At the end of the bird park, we can see one more place for birds. Here we can feed the food for big parrots. Inside the premises, a toy train is available. 7D theatre is also available, don't miss this place - if you like 3D, 5D & 7D experiences. Overall we had a very good experience and enjoyed our time.

Had an amazing time at Rajali Birds Park in Thanjavur! Over 1000 bird species, friendly domestic pets, and interactive bird feeding made it a memorable experience. All the birds and animals are well maintained. This is the only place where I've seen all the animals up close clearly. The bird feeding is an amazing experience. It far exceeded my expectations. For animal lovers this would be a treat!

Rajalli Bird Park is a fantastic destination, definitely worth a visit. Kids will have a blast with the opportunity to feed ostriches and interact with a wide array of birds. The friendly guides provide valuable assistance in handling the birds, adding to the memorable experience. Additionally, the park features an enchanting enclosure with bunnies and various bird species, making it an all-around delightful outing for families and bird enthusiasts alike.

My experience here was good. I visited during the closing time evening 6 due to which I did not have much time to spend, I don't find the staff here to be helpful, the best time I would suggest you is before 3pm , the entrance fee is 150/person and they also have fountain and 4d show inside them. They have birds rabbits, hamsters and many to play with them. If you have a kid of around 5 years this would be a best place for them

Visited the Rajali bird's Park, very near to Prahadeeswar Temple, Thanjavur at the entrance of the car parking. This park is functioning since January 2023. This park consists of large number of birds of foreign origin. Made elaborate arrangements to spend time with the most Beautiful birds . Visitors were giving grains and millets to feed the birds in side a large enclosure . The birds simply come and sit on our shoulders and hands. It is a different experience for the kids. Kids can enjoy with rabbits by feeding cabbage. The entrance fee is Rs.150/ per person. Kids above 90 cms height is charged full fare. The fee collected is seems to be higher. Either they can give concession to kids or reduce the fees to all. Other than this one can surely enjoy the visit with kids.
