RAJA RAMMOHAN ROY PARK - Park in Jangalpara, Raghunathpur - Hooghly, India

Rammohun's House Raghunathpur Raja Rammohun built this house in 1817, after being driven out from his mother's house at Nangulpara. Now four walls, without roof, are standing in ruins. Rammohun's wife Uma Devi, lived here and he used to come here off and on from Calcutta. West Bengal Heritage Commission declared it heritage building in 2022 under the West Bengal Heritage Commission Act 2001. Time spent: 30mins.

Not quite good because here's so many couple are so close movement sitting here and the authority not say any word and the government not pay much fund for modified this place and water supply not good but its a very natural place and just I feel the memory of "Raja Rammuhan Roy"

The place is very beautiful and awesome .. We have visit in this place in every month . The place is full of tree and pond. There are also have a old building which was Raja Rammohan's living place .

A well maintained place. Full of grown trees, nice place for spending some time. Water,toilet and parking place available. Entry fees rs 10 per person and 2 wheeler also.

Nice Place For Chilling out. It's a vintage place. The Environment is very good.

This is not a beautiful place but this is a most valuable place in Khanakul, because this is the birth place of Raja Ram Mohan Roy. Here lot of mango trees are present so this park is known as "Aam Bagan." Here picnic spot is available inside this park.

Need more attention of government to save the historical place. Nice greenery surrounding . Information about Raja rammohan roy is almost nil. It's a picnic spot now. Or good for a couple for hang a evening together.
