We have visited with family on June 19, 2023 : The Raja Rajeshwari Temple was a delightful experience. Its architectural grandeur and serene ambience created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. The intricate carvings and beautiful idols added to the temple's charm, making it a truly wonderful place to visit.
A very divine and holy place. Well constructed and maintained. A very nice ambience which radiates peace, harmony and divinity. The explanation was very revealing.
Nice temple. Just by the side of the road. A flight of steps takes you to the sanctum, and it's a very pleasant atmosphere there.
A lovely temple, situated in a very scenic environment. The visitors need to climb up a few steps to reach the actual temple. About 4 kilometres from Yercaud Bus stand is located the beautifully made temple of Goddess Raja Rajeshwari. The scenic valley surrounding the temple and its inherent spiritual vibrations pull pilgrims and tourists to offer their prayers to the Mother of All Beings. In the Hindu pantheon, Goddess Raja Rajeshwari is one of the ten Mahavidyas or most exalted aspects of the Highest Power (God) in the feminine form. The inner chambers of the temple house 4.5 feet tall idol of Goddess Raja Rajeswari idol in a seated posture. The idols of Shiva, Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi, Brahma and his companion Saraswati are also present in the temple. This is another rare temple, where an idol of Lord Bramha is worshipped. The temple of Mother Raja Rajeshwari is popular among the people because of its power to grant sincere prayers.
The temple is so calm and the surrounding is so beautiful. It is on the 32 km loop road and people don't usually visit this place. So it is very peaceful there. Some children were playing basketball nearby. It was pleasure to watch them play.
Temples cannot be rated. It's beyond our ratings. Just saying, a very small place and made just 40 years ago ( I've asked the pandit). It's on the way to Shevroy cave temple from Yercaud centre, so a 5 min halt is enough for this little temple.
Very small temple. If you are looking for blessing, you can visit.. otherwise you can ignore this place.
