It is beautiful place.. but crowded in the evening and the route to this is very difficult, better keep your stomach lite or have something to control your vomiting sensation.

The surrounding scenery is gorgeous, with dense scrub and jungle carpeting sparsely populated, mountainous terrain

One of the beautiful places to be seen in Karnataka.
Best time to visit would be just after the rain around July last to August
Spectacular falls. I think only water fall where we can go very near to falls on top side. I went very near to the falls. It is very adventurous and very beautiful. You must be dare enough to reach here. Way to here is so slippery. I slipped 2 times. But never quit. You will get maja if you dare. From here it may be few hundred meters down. If you see down from here you will get chakkar. View of other falls also very very beautiful. Come early morning around 7am to have nice climate and view.
Jog falls and raja falls are at same place
These are named with different names by different stories

Excellent place considering the limitations of the terrain. The manager of the hotel is a great caring gentleman. Staff are equally good and helpful. Rooms are decent, considering the moist weather they are doing a great job. Views from the compound
It's a beautiful homestay. The owner is very cooperative. But the best part is the food which is absolutely fantastic and surpasses everything else. I've never had such amazing authentic South Indian food anywhere else.
Didn't expect much when I did the booking but the rooms were spacious and clean. The view of the falls from the room was amazing. The staff are gracious. The restaurant is small and food varieties are less but for the location it is more than enoughD
