I recently had the pleasure of staying at Raj Palace by Howard and I must say, it was an experience I will cherish forever. From the moment I walked through the elegant entrance, I was greeted with a warm smile and top-notch service. The ambiance of this hotel is simply exquisite. The lobby exudes a sense of grandeur with its tasteful decor and artful lighting. The entire property is immaculately maintained, and you can tell that every detail has been carefully thought out. The attention to detail extends to the guest rooms as well. I stayed in a [room type] which was a perfect blend of modern design and classic luxury. The plush bed and high-quality linens made for a restful night's sleep, and the spacious bathroom with its deep soaking tub and rainfall shower was a real treat.

I stayed here for 5-6 days with my wife and it was quite good experience. I drove by car and didn't find much of trouble in locating hotel. Property was good. I got my room upgraded with nominal charge, room service was good . They gave morning tea in 10 min after calling kitchen, swimming pool was dirty for couple of days as it rained but got it clean once raining stopped. Staff was friendly and helpful. Always provided me whatever and whenever I asked them.

The rooms were luxurious and the service was also good. I would rather stay here and enjoy than going somewhere else. They also have a swimming pool and they gave access to use it because no other resorts give you access in the swimming pool unless you pay extra so I would recommend this place and especially for the ones who have families. Perfect hotel at the city area. many places to visit within 1 km of area. You will get scooter on rent near by. It has good swimming pool in this budget which is very good. All the staff are very supportive and kind. Only thing is bathroom was small and there was no dust bin and bucket.

The hotel property is in a great location ( though if driving come via Gulab bagh road for broader road entry- the other end is too narrow for big vehicles) It's just 5-10 min walk to Gangaur ghat and Jagdish temple. The food was tasty though breakfast options were simple. The staff is courteous and helpful especially Mr Pawan. The swimming pool is a plus especially in the middle of the city... but the rooms are a bit on the smaller side. Will suggest opt for suites ( slighter bigger rooms). They should update the rooms decor and cleanliness can be improved.

Visited - 29th Sept 2023. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and utter disbelief at the horrendous experience my friends and I had during our recent stay at Raj Palace. I feel compelled to share the details of our experience, as it was far from what was promised and left us utterly dissatisfied. To begin with, the pictures of the hotel that were showcased on various booking sites and Google were a complete misrepresentation of the reality. Upon arrival, we were initially given regular rooms with the assurance that we would be moved to suites later. However, the rooms we were provided with were far from acceptable. There was a tobacco packet on the bed, and the quilt was marred with lipstick stains and other unidentifiable marks. The washrooms were in an appalling state, with the WC clearly not having been cleaned in ages. I raised this concern with the staff, but his response was , "Clean tho hai na madam". The accumulation of dust in the room triggered a severe allergic reaction, leaving my eyes swollen the next day. This indicates a complete lack of cleanliness and maintenance in the hotel rooms. To add to our shock, one of my friends discovered a used menstrual cup in the drawer of her room. This is not just unhygienic but also a clear violation of basic standards of cleanliness and privacy. Given the deplorable conditions we encountered, we made the decision to leave the hotel the very next day. However, our experience did not end there. During the checkout process, instead of addressing our concerns and apologizing for the inconvenience caused, the manager had the audacity to blame us for our early departure. His attitude was not only unprofessional but also extremely rude. It is unacceptable to expect guests to endure such a low-quality stay and then be berated for their dissatisfaction. I am writing this message not only to vent my frustration but also to highlight the serious issues with your hotel's standards and customer service. We expected a pleasant stay at Raj Palace, but what we encountered was nothing short of a nightmare. Please don't waste your money on this hotel.

Service was ok, rooms are old and visibly dirty, very noisy from other rooms and street, breakfast was mediocre at best, and I was charged an extra night after I was told I could check out late. Would not recommend
