If you are fond of visiting museums and specifically from the world of Hindi cinema. It had great collection of Raj Kapoor's pictures and sculptures. It has great collection of statutes of his contemporary actors also like Pran, Ajeet,Mahmood, Johny Walker and many more

This place is situated in MIT Loni Campus. originally this area was known as Rajbag and owned by Late Raj Kapoor. He used to often stay here and carry out many of his films shooting here. Big premises and as per his wish this place was sold to education institutions , MIT. Pro.Dr Vishwanath Karad created marvelous memorial in the name of Raj Kapoor. This is excellent concept, equally nicely designed and precisely executed and maintained by MIT. Astikalash of Raj Kapoor is preserved at this place. Conceptually memorial is designed in eight pagodas giving information about Raj Kapoor himself, Singer's, Villains, his Heroine, samadhi, Co star actors, commedian and his different roles in eight different Pagodas. These are nicely illuminated in different colours and different moods of his songs are played in background to give desired effect. All pagodas are connected with decorated passages and in each passage proper statues of Raj Kapoor or his major roles or different personalities impacts his life are on display. Each pagoda has statues of co stars of his era in respective area. At his Samadhi his entire family is performing pooja of Shivling. last in row is Raj Kapoor auditorium where # 20 min film on his mjor films with shots and songs sequence and commentry on message given in film shows amout of contribution Raj Kapoor made in Indian Film Industry as well as indian social life in all. Real great hero. Great Memorial.

Raj kappor memorial is opened from Monday to Friday its closed on Saturday and Sunday But you can visit MIT University dome on Saturday and Sundays MIT University is a very good place to visit Very good statues of scientists and saints

It was indeed a great experience visiting this memorial which is inside the MIT ADT UNIVERSITY. Here in this memorial there many statues of RAJ KAPOOR Sir of various characters roles he had played in many different films.

A must visit for Raj Kapoor fans but lacks a lot of rare memorabilia that fans have outside. Seems like to be made out of compulsion without good research.

Everybody should visit once!!Raj kapoor's museum really should be visited by a Bollywood Lover and specially by a ''Raj Kapoor Fan''.

Raj Kapoor memorial is good but you can't spend more than 2-3 hrs here...don't expect good restaurants here ..
