If you are coming here to visit from a different state chances are you won't be impressed by the development here. Yes, it's a clean and quiet city and there's very less traffic. But there's something about the city being the Capital Of Chhatisgarh that makes it a little less of a big city. But if you are from Chhattisgarh, there's a lot to see and experience here given that Chhattisgarh is one of the backward states of the country. Many prospects have been coming up here now. The metro is an ongoing procese and it will definitely add to the city's beauty. 6-7 years from now Raipur will definitely be on some traveler's bucket list. But as of now much work to do by the government. I stayed here for about 3 days. The essence of this place is blissful. People are friendly. They avoid quarrels. Lots of religious places. Over all a wholesome place. Expecting a lot from the City.
