Walking distance from Leh market. It's a great hostel, better for people travelling alone or in groups. Great ambience, good cafe and decent food. They regularly organize live music, other events which is very lively. Overall great ambience, good common areas and cleanliness.
We went to Ladakh for a short trip just to explore Ladakh as it is so famous in India for tour. Our friend recommended this guest house since we were new to leh area. It was close to Leh market just a walking distance. Guest house was so beautiful and clean. Rooms have balconies which is my favorite thing in room as we got sun bath also. There is hot and cold water 24 hours available which was 2 thumbs up Staffs were very friendly, charming and sincere to their work. I would say our total experiences in this guest house was perfect. Rainbow hostel is the best hostel in Leh, hands down!! Tausef and team are amazing, it's a super friendly and social atmosphere. The cafe rooftop is the most perfect chill place in the mornings and after your day excursions. I originally booked 3 nights and stayed 2 weeks... and I'll definitely be back in the near future!
Rainbow Hostelier is one of the best hostels in Leh. Located conveniently at a walkable distance to the market. Rooms are comfortable with running hot water throughout the day. They have a good cafe at the rooftop with some of the most helpful staff. Special shoutout to Moe and Tausif, they are very helpful and friendly with any recommendations and itinerary around Ladakh. For us the highlight was definitely the common areas that made the place very welcoming and easy to socialise.
Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. Perfect location, good rooms and service, and as Rainbow always promises: amazing vibes. Tausef, Vishal and Anshu especially made the experience memorable. They were so kind to everyone, all the time, and made sure everyone was happy and comfortable. They also gave great recommendations on places to go. This is definitely the place to go to have fun, especially if you are travelling solo because it is so easy to meet people. Very polite staff but the quality of the rooms and service is not what you expect. The rooms don't even have kettle for warm water which is a basic considering the climate of Leh.
Just a km from Leh Market and literally just opposite zostel in Leh, it's a really beautiful hostel. It's got a nice common area and a cafe. Would've been better if they had live music in the hostel premises atleast during the weekends. Dorms were neat and clean - biggest benefit was these dorm rooms were big & spacious- so it wasn't cluttered with a nice balcony as well.
Fantastic service by Vishal at the front desk. Best guy for all the help you need with booking, taxi services and any other tourist related help. Rainbow hostelier has very nice rooms and budget friendly. The property is family owned, very sweet people, and non-intrusive.
