Rain Forest Ayur County Resort - Resort hotel in Kottayam, Perumbaikad - Kottayam, India

A well intentioned venture with a lot of money spent to make it authentically like a tropical rain forest. However, maintenance not upto the mark. Food not so great. Generally service is OK except for the one guy who was well behaved but smelling like a distillery!!

Beautiful and comfortable place to stay..Good ambience and good service by staff.However there are few demerits i faced. 1. The entrance to the property is poorly maintained and was difficult to find 2.The security closes the gate at night....we had to wait for sometime for the gate to be open.....

Had a nice time. An average place for a one-day break from the city with family & friends. However poor maintenance of the resort and food below average. So don't keep your hopes too high.

The location is beautiful. But, there are lot of shortages in infrastructure or amenities provided. There are no hangers in rooms or arrangements to keep our dress. There were rooms with water heating system not in working condition. Quality of food needs more improvements. But the coffee and tea are superb. Arrangements of electric kettles were provided only in some rooms. Behaviour of staff is excellent. Though water heating system was not working in my room, one of the staff took pains bring hot water to my room on both days as early as 6:00 am.

It's fabulous calm space for day out as well as night stay. Clean and natural atmosphere.

The school reunion was conducted there. Service is just ok. A lot of locals were making ruckus. We dispersed fast. Food is just about ok.

You wont expect such an ambience in the middle of kottayam town. Fully covered with trees as the name rainforest suggests.. the staff was very cooperative and service was excellent.

Don't go there with high expectations nothing worth the money we pay. food was very bad even after we complained many times there was no benefit and food bill was very high .The service was okay but one of the staff was drunk and came with us to do the activities (pedel boating .kottavanchi.) which didn't feel safe at all. The cleanliness was also very bad, the pool area was broken and not clean We Complained to manager but all he said was its natural there overall very bad experience dont go there fully waste of money and time
