Most cleaned railway station on 18/07/2018 and rush free, Silent junction. Cleanness is wall maintained.
We were supposed to go on a day trip to Ankola on a train which passes through Mangalore Junction at 5.45 AM. We accordingly reached the station by 5.30 AM and the parking had plenty of parking slots available. As soon as we parked the car, the parking attendant came over and enquired how long we intended to leave the car. When we told him that we will be back only by the evening, he issued us a ticket for Rs.95 ( day parking charges). He also asked us to leave the parking ticket on the dashboard so that it was easily visible. We reached back by 9:00 PM and the attendant came over to collect the parking ticket as soon as entered the car. The car was safe and the purpose of the paid parking was served.
Road is narrow at places.auto drivers will not cooperate with other vehicles to pass through. No hotel in the railway station..not at all safe to walk to city from here..who cares..but ample parking soace
