Good small station. Once it was far away from city, now city has come close to it. Basic amenities available in and around. Work in progress to make it even better. Autos available outside PF1.
Not clean Toilate on station, pantry didn't give a normal water, only package drinking bottle thay sale (m/s. D. K. Pathak tea stall) they waiting area also not clean

It is under Jabalpur railway division of West Central Railway Zone of Indian Railways. It lies in between Jabalpur and Itarsi, very few trains have stoppage here. It has only 2 platform where trains going to Jabalpur comes on platform 1 while train going to Itarsi comes on platform number 2. SBI atm is there along with reservation counter and general ticket counter on platform number 1. Most of the time at arrival time of trains local transportation (auto) are available. Aloobanda are available for a delicacy treat but please mind the chillies . Not so clean but ok Waiting rooms are available for sleeper and AC class traveller.
