I contacted Railway Guest house seeing good rating on google. but the contact number on google is FRAUD. He asked me for money by sending QR on whatsapp. This guest house doesn't not exist in reality.
Location should be on the other side. Otherwise everything is great.
Very good place to stay
The number showing there is totally a fraud case . They ask you money through QR. Don't pay via this. Else your money will be gone . I have reported about it in cyber crime cell. Most probably they are from ODISHA.
We have stayed in both the construction and open line guest house many times and tried all the rooms ranging from dorm to holiday home to the suites . Service is amazing and the food too. My personal favourite room here is the old wooden suite with the fire place and velvet flooring. It even comes with a extra room for your driver.

only guest house run by Railway on mind to welfare of rly employees to stay when travelling meghalaya. Nice place to stay and nice food also . Two rest house there one is under construction organisation and other is under open line organisation headed and booked by respective General Manager.
Service and food is average but you get a best in class view of the city uou can view the sunrise from the guest house as you get best view of city in day and night both.For vegans its good but non veg is not good.But the location is supreme and you get a view of the whole city.
