Very good place for kids and family visit. Very fun way to learn about railway and history. Even if kid is very small it's still a must visit place if your in Delhi. Although most of things are closed now and only Joy ride is open it still a very entertaining place.
Rail Gaddi...Whether we have beautiful and expensive cars or we are frequent flyers. But we all love trains and they are the life line for many Indians. I have been to this place umpteen times and every time I visit I feel like a child. We use to go for a day picnic during our school days and those were some precious days of my life. It is a beautiful place with lots and lots of old and very old engines. They have a proper museum wherein they have small engines etc. A must visit if you have small kids for sure. Age group : 5 to 12 yrs old would enjoy the most rest would love their company. They have a small narrow gaze chuk chuk train. Charges are very nominal. Go and enjoy your day and let us know your experience.
Recent overhaul made this place a joy. Raill artifacts preserved in good condition. AC main hall and lots of childrens trains and models make this place a joy for train lovers

A very entertaining place to visit with family n friends. It has all the history showcased from the starting of Railways in India till the commencement of Bullet train. We can experience the era of old n new train technology n structure. They also have simulator of engine both electric n diesel. Restaurant is also designed well and serves average food.
