Rahmaniya Kethel's Chicken - Chicken restaurant in Kozhikode - Kozhikode, India

Recently tried the Kozhikode Rehmania Kethela chicken, and overall, I found it to be a decent dish. The chicken is very unique one (baby chicken) The chicken was fried well and had a nice level of spiciness to it. It was evident that the dish carried the legacy of Trivandrum Kethels, known for their flavorful preparations. Their dry chilli pickle is adds flavours to the meat. The another in combo is definitely their lime juice and it works well. However, I must admit that I personally didn't feel the same level of satisfaction in terms of taste compared to the chicken I had from Trivandrum about five years ago. Perhaps my expectations were high due to the reputation of Trivandrum Kethels, and that may have influenced my perception of the Kozhikode version. Nevertheless, I would still recommend giving it a try. The chicken is good, and while it may not match up to the nostalgic memories I have of Trivandrum Kethels, it could still be a delightful experience for others. Taste preferences can vary, so it's worth giving it a shot and forming your own opinion about the dish.

Rehmaniya Kethels Chicken is a very old restaurant located in Nadakkave, near to the fish market. They serve fried spring chicken which is very spicy. Chicken pieces are small and drenched in the chilli flakes masala. They serve it as a package of 8 pieces with either Chapathi, Pathiri or Ghee Rice and cost ranges between 230 and 260. Those who can't take spicy food definitely should avoid this food. There is parking space in front of the building complex.

Special taste of kethels chicken chunks spiked with the best of Indian spices. Fiery and flavour packed, this is one of the classic chicken i have ever had in Calicut. This Spicy chicken is a must at dinner parties for its incredibly delicious flavour along with the lemonade water, Yummy Spicy combo

A good place to visit for a variety meal. They provide kethal chicken fry, kethals liver fry, ghee rice, chappathi and pathiri along with a gravy. The menu is limited, but the place is worth a visit if you have never tried kethals chicken before. The lime pickle provided along is smack worthy! I would totally suggest to try it once to see if you like the dishes. It's very similar to spring chicken, but yet so different. This is their first and longest branch in Kozhikode and they have maintained the food quality in this outlet unlike the other new outlets.

If you are looking for a place to enjoy some Kerala food, you should try this restaurant. The restaurant also has a good ambience, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere, comfortable seating and friendly staff. There is a limited parking space in front of the building complex.

You can enjoy the famous, exclusive kethels chicken ( small tender baby chicken )from here. People who can't stomach spicy food please avoid. They have combos of fried chicken, fried chicken liver, chapati, nice pathiri and ghee rice. Chapati is thin and small. One person can easily have 6of them. Same with pathiri. They give sweet lime juice for free instead of water which is an added bonus. I think they are giving chicken heart and lungs in the name of liver, im not sure. This place is empty most of the times due to awkward location. But you shud have a try at their special chicken fry atleast once.

A good hotel. Chappathy with Special chicken fry (its not a broiler chicken, age is only 45 days)is tasty.spicy and hot(mulake idichu vechathu pole). A lemon juice is along with this dish, cost 210/- Its not a heavy dish.Just like a snacks.
