Extremely disappointed with the hotel. From my personal experience it wasn't worth the money. While the hotel is big and charming,it's old. The television doesn't work in the morning. Power keeps flickering every now and then. The service is terrible. They don't greet you when you check in. Nobody cares. The restaurant/breakfast area is always busy and there's no time for the waiters to take your order. Most annoying thing was that there was a wedding that took place at the time we were staying at the property. The music is so loud at 11pm that you can barely sleep. There was no email / reminder telling us that a wedding was taking place so we knew ahead of time. The all day dining menu has limited options. FYI if you book a business class Lake view room the lake some where far off and all you see when you open the curtain is barren land. I'm sorry to say but the service definitely needs to be improved for the price we pay. Not coming back.

The rooftop restaurant provided a perfect retreat from the chilly weather, thanks to the high-temperature heaters that kept us comfortably warm. We were able to relax and savor our meal while taking in the picturesque views of the surroundings.
Nice hotel Mr. Ashik was bit welcoming and offered to click our family snap. Hotel location is great and we enjoyed the stay. Food is expensive and average, not much variety on the menu. If asked for any service it takes forever for them to attend. Staff seems stressed and most of them had no smile on the face, only the welcoming ladies had warm smile on their face, even the security guys.
Udaipur has many hotels and resorts. Radisson Blu Palace Resort & Spa was my first experience of the group's major hotels. They cater to Wedding functions and mostly the rooms are occupied by wedding parties. The hustle and bustle may start from the lobby during the wee hours. I never like getting disturbed in my sleep. A renowned brand deserves numerous positive feedback from customers. Customer appreciation is the outcome of the hospitality he gains.
Loved the experience here. The crew is too sweet especially Disha, she clicked many pictures in my satisfied way. Also the view is great here from my room. The food is also pretty good here. Will recommend this place to my friends and family.
CRYING FOR RENOVATION AND UPKEEP. The hotel is so beautiful from the outside. But it is so downmarket and cheaply done inside. The bathroom is all with missing fittings. The Lever of the wash basin is missing and the water doesn't drain out. The water stopper of the bathtub is missing. The breakfast is not at all premium. The coffee isn't what you expect in a five star hotel. No dry fruits are there with cornflakes. And the pizza is a farce. We made the mistake of ordering an overpriced Ortolano pizza which was supposed to have grilled vegetables and sun dried tomatoes. But it just had freshly chopped onions and tomatoes with broccoli. I even tried reasoning with the chef and he tried showing me some hidden non existent ingredients. The mats on the table are the cheapest possible. The salt dispenser has last day's curry layered on it. Flowers are withered. The wall decor is all broken. The hotel isn't worth staying even with 80% discount.
The room was not up to the expectations of other Raddison Hotels. I was really annoyed with the reception staff. The restaurant staff are far better. Reception staff were very rude to us, they were like least bothered by their customers. The cleaning staff were very good and helpful. The reception staff were not at all cooperative and friendly. Which really spoiled my whole holiday
I had a great time in Udaipur and all it had to offer. Radisson Blu was a great hotel with a nice location by the lake. Breakfast was provided every day with a lot of options, both Indian and Continental. Great experience overall.
