Radisson Blu Hotel, Kochi - Hotel in Kochi, Ernakulam - Ernakulam, India

We stayed here on our first night in India. We arrived late after 21 hours of flying. The staff were friendly and helpful and checked us in quickly, making sure we had what we needed. They had forgotten to put in the additional bed however they bought it up quickly and without any fuss. Breakfast was nice and had a great variety of foods. It was a 30 second walk to the metro train which we caught to a shopping mall so it was really easy and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms at this hotel are not designed well. The TV in the room is placed on left wall of the bed which makes it at an uncomfortable angle, that is no proper sitting position for watching TV. I usually not watch TV at hotel but as ICC World Cup was going on I wanted to watch but couldn't rest well and watch comfortably. Also the mini bar is kept in front of the TV which also obstructs the view of TV. There is no mirror in the room. The only mirror available in the room is in the bathroom. The mattress was also firm. The window is not clean and foggy always, so no clear view of outside. Bathroom is good with bathtub and all the amenities. Ok for a one night stay but definitely not good for longer stays. Food is good at the hotel and service is also good. Great and friendly staff. Near to metro station.

Decent experience! Not sure if it could be considered 5 stars though. Staff in general are friendly. Rooms are okay, although options for lighting in the room is strange (all on/ all off / blue light). Bathroom was a little run down in places, but decent sizes. The breakfast was the only food I tried which was very nice, with freshly made Indian breakfast to order which I found was very tasty - having travelled a lot around South India I knew what to expect and it was definitely up to standard. Special mention to Bharat who was very helpful and friendly at breakfast service. Unfortunately though, My experience at the Raddison blu left me feeling that the service provided very much depended on the staff member. On a few occasions I was at the front desk asking for help from staff, when other guests came to interrupt to ask questions I felt ignored. On multiple occasions (front desk & at breakfast) I felt like as a non-Indian, I was given secondary priority. At breakfast on one occasion, I was given a soggy dosa, which I noticed a member of staff rushing to get done in order to get an order of dosas for an Indian family ready, which was a shame. I had "Do Not Disturb" light on at my room, and twice the housekeeping called me to asked when they could clean. After informing them to come at a certain time when I'd be out, I'd return hours later to find the room had not been cleaned. Generally , an okay experience. Some staff made up for the lack of service from others. Central location which was easy to order Uber/Ola from which was convenient. Note they have strict rules about bringing outside food into the hotel.

It was NOT at all a Radison Blu experience. We were a team of 12 people who came and stayed at this place for our team offsite. Let's first start with something positive: 1. Thank you to Aleena, one of their junior staff ,who worked hard in arranging our team meeting and bookings. Otherwise I am sure noting would have got done. 2. Banquet team took care of us well. So 2 stars are only for that team. 3. Bathrooms are in somewhat good condition from cleanliness perspective. There junior staff is working hard, but not trained well. Their operational processes lacks maturity(check-in process, check-out process, booking process of you are doing over email) If you have to book the rooms and banquet hall, it will take ages. Their banquet booking team and room booking team doesn't speak with each other. If you are pre-booking via email, it will take ages. They will not reply unless you don't follow-up. Here is the list of things that went wrong for us 1. Rooms are smelly. 2. Even though we have given advance, they charged our team members on checkin day. 3. Focus is to get money out of your pocket ASAP then to give a better service experience. 4. My neighbour room guest was watching a movie during night time, lot of noise came to my room lead to me unable to sleep. 5. ACs not working properly leading to unable to sleep. 6. Hot and cold water mix in bathroom not working properly 7. We took breakfast here, food was of very average quality Go find a better place to stay in Kochi. Will not return back with my team or family in this hotel. Update: If you don't still believe, look at their reply. It's a same standard reply to everyone. They seriously don't really care about feedback.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Great range of food selection and everything tasted good too. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and polite.

Nice rooms clean and comfortable, staff very friendly front desk are very profesional.. the breakfast is amazing..! one of the best in kochi .. but..... the security are very odd! they dont help with luggage even they saw us struggling with all of our stuff and even see an old woman carrying luggage they dont even dare to move a bit and try to help they just stares at us!! this is the worst part of the hotel otherwise evrything is ok! I hope you train your security properly! they dont even try to help to open the door for us! so wondering why they are standing in front of the door??? so many of them standing there and not even one of them try to help!!!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Radisson Blu Cochin. The building appeared old and neglected, lacking proper staff attention. The food was of poor quality and tasteless, which reflects poorly on the entire Radisson group. Additionally, the screens and curtains in the hotel were torn, further adding to the overall disappointment. The lack of staff at the parking area and careless security measures only added to the negative experience. I strongly advise against choosing Radisson Blu Cochin for your stay.

The hotel smells like smoking was previously allowed inside, so despite of the star rating it has, it doesn't give the impression of cleanliness one would expect from 4-5 star hotels. The breakfast was good with lot of variety. We had to order additional towels, because the ones in the room were not clean, as they showed some dark stains on them. We stayed here because it was next to the tailor made shop, as I had to pick up some suits the morning after, but it is not precisely close to the MG road.
