Rabindra Bhavan - Auditorium in Khardaha - 24 Paraganas North, India

Overwhelming place for performing arts. Has too many make up rooms with large spaces. A single room is enough for one group .The depth of the stage isn't that big at all but lengthwise it's quite accommodating. The hole auditorium is covered by A.C and there are 3 working lifts. Auditorium is on 2nd floor of the building.

Good auditorium with good ac. The stairs are steep, easy to use. Its beside the GT Road so can be easily detected. Inside of the of the auditorium the seats are really good and comfortable, sound system are also well enough. Stage area is moderately large and can be used for any kind of performance. In the basement of this building there are some stores and also a bank is there

Avoid this performance theater if possible. I had a horrible experience during the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony which was organized by the school where my daughter studies. I'm withholding the name of the school to keep it out of the content since this is my personal review about this place. Why did I have a horrible experience? Read on... 1. Most of the AC systems were not working and the atmosphere inside the auditorium seemed suffocating. The temperature outside the auditorium was more comforting. It was hard to find an individual among the audience who was not feeling uncomfortable. 2. The AC system of the green-room was not working either. 3. According to my daughter, there were no chairs in the green-room. Thus, they had to sit on the floor. 4. There was no water in the washroom. Obviously, it was not suitable for use by either the students or the teachers. Imagine their misery. 5. There were burlap sacks stacked at one part of the ground floor. Even though, these sacks were kept at a distance from the staircase; it begs the question 'Is this a performance theater or a storehouse?" I don't why the school chose Rabindra Bhavan over Sukanta Sadan in Barrackpore which is in better condition. May be the renting rate is more economic than Sukanta Sandan.

Rabindra bhaban , when it was constructed we were in schooldays.we had a question could we enter this beautiful auditorium?? Finally I had multiple opportunities to embrace its great feelings.this is proud of khardah .awesome feeling, better experience to njy a program.

Generator facility is quite bad. This is to be noted that a meeting of a renowned nationalised bank was powerless for almost 1 hour on 10/12/2017 due to unavailability of generator back-up.

nice place and ambience. Auditorium is quite big with khardah municipality next to it quite busy because of that. However the lift is out of order and the stairs are quite steep. A.C. is nice, the hall has great announce system. The toilets are mostly clean but some basins are broken

A very nice auditorium situated on B. T. Road and within 10 minutes of walking distance from Khardah station. A popular destination for music and other cultural programs. People belonging to that location and nearby areas, really follow programs over there. Most of the cases it remains houseful.
