Nice place, peace & healthy environment.
The 'Raniganj Vriksh Vatika' is 30 kilometres west of the Araria District Headquarters in Bihar State. It is 25 kilometres east of S.H. 77, which is 310 kilometres north-east of Patna, and forbesganj four-lane (NH 57) to South Kursela. The Bihar government has designated this area as forest land. Hasanpur Balu Dhima was the previous name for the region currently known as Raniganj Vriksh Vatika. This natural woodland region, which covers 289 acres, has been developed. Its altered nature has been given an appealing appearance to meet the demands of tourists. Currently, 'Raniganj Vriksh Vatika' is a highly attractive, gorgeous tourist site in Bihar State, suitable for nature and health enthusiasts, as well as a research centre.
Closed for public. You can not enter into the premises due to some life threatening reasons to the animal inside it. As far as I know it has only AZGAR snake and DEER (HIRAN) inside it. I hope it may help you.
The Bihar Government Zoo passed in Raniganj Forest Department is the most useless work. If the textile industry or any industry had been set up at that place, then 50000 unemployed people of Bihar would have been able to work in it and earn their living and the government would also have benefited from it.. Bihar is lagging behind because of all the leaders of Bihar and none of their policies are right. Akahay yadav from Hasanpur
