It's very old pond need to be cleaned and preserved on regular basis.
It is a colony. Pond is in the middle of the colony. People enjoy evening and morning view from tea stalls. Also rituals are performed for many purpose.Chatt Puja is the time when this pond is decorated to its limits and you can see happy faces all around. Children Enjoy Puja bursting crackers and playing.
It's a beautiful pond. One can visit to see its beauty but it really need more beautification.
Awsome locality, but traffic at the railway level crossing is pathetic. Few days back we spent more than one hour, stuck in jam, all due to idiot bike riders.
This place is located in my locality and decent place for relaxing...I used to stand here for my school bus I guss for more than 6-7 years, along with my friends.In summer u can get cool breeze due to the pond. Chhath puja also occurs here.U can get a tea shop also here. So definitely visit over here.
This is just a pond ..... It is used for land mark and for some holy festivals/rituals

It's a nice place in noisy town for a sweet calm morning and evening walks.
