it's one of the best medical College in Kolkata. it is mantion by state government of west bengal. so, it is good to get chance in there as far as I know there you can get by gnm or bsc nursing or mbbs or paramedical... being it's self as hospital also very much special so if you get chance there Do not wait and get addmission here I can definitely say it would be good for you

It's located near Shyambazar, well connected by bus or Metro. If you travel by bus then any bus that passes through Shyambazar will be your right choice, at Shyambazar crossing you will see a statue of Netaji riding on a horse, now the direction at which the horse is facing will be your right direction to the RRB. It will take 300/400 mtr walking distance from Shyambazar crossing. If you travel by metro then at Shyambazar station you must come out from Gate number 2 and follow the above instructions. It's a quite big hospital of state government but not well maintained, you can see garbage and dirt in surroundings, even patients room are also not clean properly, I was shocked to see dogs and cats are gadding in patients room, lots of patients in a hall room, not maintaining proper distance between them, even patients are staying in corridor also. There was splitting in lift also, yes it's true not all those problems are for the Government's fault, people should be aware of this, what kind of people are they, who split at lift of a hospital, shame on those people. Take as much care as you can if anyone admit here.

It was under University of Calcutta from 1916 to 2003 and affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences when it was established in 2003. R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital completed 100 years of its service in 2016. This college is a co-educational institution that is recognized by the MCI and affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
