R Bhagat Tarachand Veg Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai - Thane, India

So we had been to their zaveri bazar place and we were equally excited to visit here .... The cuisines here are definitely worth it.. however, we had their special dishes and we felt really amazing to be here.. their aam ras is fab.. we even tried mango rabdi and it was the best.. we even had their khichiya papad fried and roasted.. we even tried their khichiya papad churi... In the main course we tried their butter roti which is their signature dish I believe.. we ordered sabzi as well which was fab... The dal khichdi was equally good.. we even tried Pani Puri in the evening which was okayish... Not good . Not bad .. overall we shall recommend this place to everyone for some hatke variety of food..

I was confused between two Bhagat Tarachand in the same location. I decided to visit this place. The staff was warm and welcoming. They did sitting arrangements and accommodated my wheelchair without much trouble. The service was prompt and efficient. No complaints about it. The food was very good. Taste is exactly what Gujarati customers would want. We ordered tomato soup and special thali. For the price we paid, it looked decent. The portion was adequate. However, I've never had dal with onion in my life until I visited here. That one thing didn't taste good at all. Everything else felt worth the price I paid. What I didn't like is, the place is very congested. If you're planning to go here with more than 4-5 people, it may be a little inconvenient. Most of the sitting arrangement is done in a 2+2 fixed table so there's very little possibility of modifying anything quickly. Because it's congested when 3-4 people talking in decent voices, it feels like too much noise. Overall, I may visit this place again if it's just for good food. If I'm seeking a fully good experience, this may not be my choice.

FOOD NOT AT ALL TASTY... last times experience was also bad... today also the food was nt tasty.. Order makki roti ams saag Saag was like thick green paste without any flavour... Makki roti was very thick and crispy... not soft... Carrot halwa ..the carrot was nt fried well in ghee. Tasted like boiled grated carrot... with cashew and mava.. and no ghee And bow I get a reply saying ... the vessels served in doesn't belong to them... I stay near Bhagat tarachand apmc mkt for 20 years

Papad Churi is easily the best thing you won't find in any other restaurants. Other dishes are also delicious but Papad Churi is the best. It is a tiny place and there is nothing fancy about it, however, the quality of food easily overcomes everything else. A recommended place for vegetarians.

Bhagat Tarachand I first experienced at MG Road / E Street at Pune and fell instantly and crazily in love with. It was live at first taste. But I was disappionted with the Vashi dana bazar outlet as it was too small and the taste also didnt linger on after eating. It was just another jointnto fillnin and not that would make the taste savour on.....
