Best to go at dusk, you see in some daylight left, then at night. It's a great spot. Do NOT eat the nearby canteen food (near where you buy tickets) I got really sick from it.

One of the great sights in Delhi. Largest brick tower structure in the world. Tower is surrounded by other temple structures with detailed carvings. Off to one side is the base of a planned, but never finished, second tower - to be twice the height. Also home to the Iron Column. This is an excellent and must see historical place to visit whilst in Delhi with its 1192 sandstone minaret and beautiful buildings/temples and grounds. Part of our personal guided tour who enhanced the experience by providing the history of this site. Very busy with Indians and tourists when we visited.
Qutub Minar - A Serene Stroll Through History Experience with a friend: I visited the Qutub Minar with my best friend and had an enjoyable time exploring this historic marvel. Entry and Ticket: The ticket price was a mere 40Rs per person, allowing us access to the premises. It was a reasonable fee for the historical significance and beauty of the site. Exploration: We took a leisurely 40-minute walk around the area, soaking in the rich history and admiring the intricate architectural details. The surroundings were incredibly neat and well-maintained, adding to the overall charm of the place. Perspective: The Qutub Minar, though majestic in photos, might seem slightly shorter in reality. However, the historical significance and the detailed craftsmanship on the monument are awe-inspiring nonetheless. Ambiance: The ambiance was serene, offering a peaceful getaway from the bustling city. The surrounding greenery added to the tranquility of the place, making it a perfect spot for history enthusiasts and anyone seeking a calm retreat. Recommendation: Highly recommended for history buffs, photographers, and those seeking a serene historical escape in the heart of India. Feel free to adjust or add any other details you might want to include!
Historical places and structure which signifies the architects of the past era. The inscription on the walls, the detailing has been beautiful crafted. The area is accompanied by a small walkable park for recreational activities. The best view of the tower is at night when the tower is being lit. A must visit to witness historical construction and architectural creativity and ideas.
